Profit And Loss-Ahadith

Profit And Loss, Shariath

“Bismillahir Rahmannir Raheem”Al-Hamdu Lillaahi Rabbil ‘Aalameen was Salaatu was- Salaamu ‘Alaa Sayidinaa Muhammadin wa Aalihi wa Asabihi Ajma ‘een (tauheed- risalat- ahkirat and islam-iman-ihsan)

The Holy Prophetﷺhas the power of GivingBenefits/Loss

Sayyiduna Rasoolullah ﷺ has been blessed by Allah Ta’ala with the powers to give benefit or loss to anybody if he wishes.

Allama Imam Qastalani (ra) commentator of Bukhari Shareef, writes in his book Mawahib ul-ladunya and Imam Muhammad Ibn Hajar al-Makki (ra) writes in his book Madkhal, “There is no difference between the states of life and death of the Holy Prophet ﷺ, in his seeing his entire Ummah and his recognising of their states, their intentions and their minds, and all this is clear to him; there is no secret thereof of him.” (Mawahib ul-ladunya Page 32, Madkhal Page 21)

Imam Jalaal’uddeen as-Suyuti (ra) said in the book “Anba’ al-adhkiya’ fi hayat il-anbiya” that “radda” means “ala al-dawam”, i.e. permanently, and not temporarily: in other words, Allah does not return the soul and take it back, then return it again and then take it back again, but He has returned it to Rasoolullah ﷺ permanently, and the Prophet ﷺ is alive permanently, not intermittently as some ignorant people have suggested.

Ibn Taymiyya had to admit:‘Verily Allah made the Prophet his deputy (viceroy) in Amr (Commandments), Nahy (Prohibitions), Ikhbaar (News) and Bayaan (statements).’ (As Saarim ul Maslool p41)

Abu Huraira (ra) narrates that Rasulullah ﷺsaid: “I have been sent with Jawami’ al-kalim (conciseness of speech). I was in a state of dreaming when the keys to the Earth were given in my hands”. Sahih Muslim, vol.1, p.199

‘Uqbah bin ‘Aamir (ra) narrates that Rasulullah ﷺwas standing on the pulpit and said: “Indeed I have been granted the keys to the treasures of the world” Mishkat, p.548

Abu Hurayra states:The Prophet ﷺ delivered a sermon in which he preached ‘O People! Hajj is made obligatory upon you so perform Hajj’. A person then asked ‘Is it every year Yaa Rasoolallah?’ The Prophet remained silent, the man repeated his question three times, the Prophet ﷺ replied ‘If I was to say yes, it would become compulsory every year!’ (Muslim, Musnad Ahmad, Sunan Kubraa, Bayhaqee, Nisai, Dar ul Qutni)

Sayyiduna Rasoolullah ﷺ was making Wudhu for Tahajjud Salaah at the home of Hazrat Maimuna (radi Allahu anha). He suddenly called out three times, “Labbaik, Labbaik, Labbaik!” (Here I am) and “Nusirtu, Nusirtu, Nusirtu!” (I helped you). After saying this, he remained where he was and did not leave that place. Hazrat Maimuna (radi Allahu anha) further said: “When the Prophet ﷺ completed his Wudhu, I asked him why he had called out those words”. He replied: “Raajiz was calling me”. What actually happened was that the Quraish wanted to kill Hazrat Umar bin Saalim Raajiz (ra) as he was on the road leading to Madinatul Munawwarah. He called out: “O Nabi ﷺ! Help me or else the enemies will kill me!” Sayyiduna Rasoolullah ﷺ responded to his call from home and saved him from death. (Baihaqi; Tibrani)

This Hadith Shareef proves four points:

Sayyiduna Rasoolullah ﷺ is observing his Ummah.

It is Ja’iz (Permissible) to call the Prophet ﷺ for help.

Sayyiduna Rasoolullah ﷺ can hear the call of his Ummah.

Sayyiduna Rasoolullah ﷺ can help those in distress regardless of distance.

When I want to talk to allah I say prayers and when I want that he talk to me I recite quran- Hazrath Ali(ra)
