Volume 1, Book 4, Number 215: (Sahih Bukhari)Narrated Ibn ‘Abbas: Once the Prophet, while passing through one of the grave-yards of Medina or Mecca heard the voices of two persons who were being tortured in their graves. The Prophet said, “These two persons are being tortured not for a major sin (to avoid).” The Prophet then added, “Yes! (they are being tortured for a major sin). Indeed, one of them never saved himself from being soiled with his urine while the other used to go about with calumnies (to make enmiy between friends).(ilm e ghaib –prophet saws knows what they did while they were alive ie the reason for the torture) The Prophet then asked for a green leaf of a date-palm tree, broke it into two pieces and put one on each grave. On being asked why he had done so, he replied, “I hope that their torture might be lessened, till these get dried.”

Accusation of Shirk- Hudhaifa i.e. Ibn al Yaman (ra) said that the Prophet ﷺ said: Verily, I fear about a man from you who will read the Qur’an so much that his face will become enlightened and he will come to personify Islam. This will continue until Allah desires. Then these things will be taken away from him when he will disregard them by putting them all behind his back and will attack his neighbor with the sword accusing him of Shirk. The Prophet was asked – which of the two will be deserving of such an accusation? – The attacker or the attacked? The Prophet replied – the attacker (the one accusing the other of Shirk)[Narrated by Ibn Hibban in his Sahih, Tahqiq Nasir Albani, Volume 001, Page No. 200, Hadith Number 81] Misguided group scholar Nasir Albani said: ‘this hadith is hasan’ also see [Silsilat al-ahadith al-sahihah – Albani Volume 007-A, Page No. 605, Hadith Number 3201]

Prophet ﷺ said… I am afraid about my community of those leaders who will lead astray. When the sword is used among my people, it will not be withdrawn from them till the Day of Resurrection, and the Last Hour will not come before the tribes of my people attach themselves to the polytheists and tribes of my people worship idols. There will be among my people thirty great liars each of them asserting that he is (Allah’s) prophet, whereas I am the Seal of the Prophets after whom (me) there will be no prophet; and a section of my people will continue to hold to the truth – (according to Ibn ‘Isa’s version: (will continue to dominate) – the agreed version goes: “and will not be injured by those who oppose them, till Allah’s command comes.”(ABU DAWOOD, Book 30, Number 4239)

“Ibn Umar considered the Khawarij and the heretics as the worst beings in creation, and he said: They went to verses which were revealed about the disbelievers and applied them to the Believers.(Bukhari Chapter Khawarjites)Ibn Hajr al Asqalani (rah) said in Fath ul bari: قلت : وسنده صحيح That its sanad is sahih

Imam and Hafiz of hadith Abu Yala (Rh) narrates a hadith in his Musnad with the chain going back to the companion of prophet , Sayyedina Huzaifa (rd) that the prophet of Allah said Verily, I fear about a man from you who will read the Quran so much that his face will become enlightened and will come to personify Islam. This will continue until Allah wishes when these things will be taken away from him when he will disregard them by putting them all behind him and attack his neighbour with the sword accusing him of Shirk. The Prophet was asked ‘Which of the two was commiting Shirk? The attacker or the attacked?’ The prophet replied ‘The attacker (the one accusing the other of Shirk).”The classification of this Hadith is Jayyid.( Strong)Imam Ibn Kathir (Rh) also recorded this hadith in his Tafsir under Surah Al-Araf.

Sahih Muslim Book 4 Hadith 991 Ibn ‘Abbas reported: The Apostle of Allah ﷺ had been commanded that he should prostrate on the seven (bones) and he was forbidden to fold back the hair and clothing. And in the narration transmitted by Abu Rabi’ (the words are):” on the seven bones and I was forbidden to fold back the hair and clothing”. But al-Mundhir al-Ashajj waited until he came to the bundle of his clothes. He put on his two garments and then he went to the Prophet ﷺ.

Sayyidina Safwan ibn Assal al-Muradi reported that of two Jews one said to the other, “Come let us go to this Prophet that we may question him.” The other said, “Do not call him a Prophet, for, if he hears you say Prophet he will be overjoyed.’ So they came to him and asked him about the words of Allah the Exalted: “And certainly we gave Musa nine manifest signs.” (17/101 Shu’bah was unsure if this was included: And particularly for you, O Jews, that you do not contravene (the injunctions on) the Sabbath (Saturday). So, they kissed his hand and his feet, saying, “We bear testimony that you are a Prophet. He asked. ‘Then what prevents you from submitting (in Isaim)?” They said, ‘Dawood had prayed that Prophets should not cease to come in his offspring and we fear that if we submit the Jews will kill us.’trimdhi chapter 18, Hadith 3155,), (Book of Adab) who declared it hasan sahih Ahmed 18814,Narrated by Ibn Abi Shayba (Book of Adab, Chapter entitled A Man Kissing

Burayda said: When we were with Allah’s Messenger on an expedition, a Bedouin came and asked for a miracle. The Prophet pointed at a tree and said to the Bedouin: “Tell that tree: Allah’s Messenger summons you.” The Beduin did, whereupon the tree swayed and brought itself out, and came to the presence of the Prophet saying: “Peace be upon you, O Messenger of Allah!” The Bedouin said: “Now let it return to its place!” When Allah’s Messenger ordered it, the tree went back. The Bedouin said: “let me prostrate to you!” The Messenger answered: “If I commanded anyone to do that, I would command the wife to prostrate to her husband.” The Bedouin said: “Then give me permission to kiss your hands and feet.” The Prophet gave him permission. Qadi `Iyad narrated it in al-Shifa’ (1:299) and al-Bazzar in his Musnad (3:49).
