“Bismillahir Rahmannir Raheem”Al-Hamdu Lillaahi Rabbil ‘Aalameen was Salaatu was- Salaamu ‘Alaa Sayidinaa Muhammadin wa Aalihi wa Asabihi Ajma ‘een (tauheed- risalat- ahkirat and islam-iman-ihsan)

Abu Huraira (ra) also said: “Help the worker in his work. He that works for Allah (i.e. the servant) will not be disappointed”.(Al-Adab Al-Mufrad)

…Abu Darda’ reported that the Prophet of Allah, said, “Nothing is weightier on the Scale of Deeds than one’s good manners.” Hadith – Bukhari’s Book of Manners #271, Abu Dawud, Tirmidhi, Ahmad, and Ibn Hibban.
Abu Huraira, r.a., said, “I heard Abu al Qasim (the Prophet
ﷺ ), say, ‘The best among you in Islam are those with the best manners, so long as they develop a sense of understanding.’ ” Hadith – Bukhari’s Book of Manners #286 and Ahmad
… ‘Abd Allah ibn ‘Amr said, “The Prophet of Allah
, was never obscene or coarse. Rather, he used to tell us that the best among us were those with the best manners.” Hadith – Sahih Bukhari, Muslim, and Tirmidhi

… Anas said, “I served the Prophet of Allah, for ten years. During that time, he never once said to me as much as ‘Oof’ if I did something wrong. He never asked me, if I had failed to do something, ‘Why did you not do it?,’ and he never said to me, if I had done something wrong, ‘Why did you do it?’ ” Hadith – Sahih Bukhari, Muslim and Ahmad
… Abu Huraira, r.a., said that the Prophet of Allah,
ﷺ , said, “If one has good manners, one may attain the same level of merit as those who spend their nights in prayer.” Hadith – Bukhari’s Book of Manners # 285, Hakim, and Abu Dawud

… Abu Hurairah reported that the Prophet of Allah (ﷺ ) said, “And what is most likely to send people to Paradise? Being conscious of Allah and good manners.” Hadith – Bukhari’s Book of Manners # 290, Tirmidhi, Ibn Majah, and Ahmad

… Nawas ibn Sam’an reported that the Prophet of Allah, ﷺ , was asked about doing good and evil. He replied, “Doing good is having good manners. Doing evil is what troubles you inside and what you would not like others to know about.” Hadith – Bukhari’s Book of Manners # 296, Muslim, Tirmidhi, Darimi, Abu ‘Awanah, Hakim, and Ibn Hibban.

The Prophet of Allah, ﷺ , said, “He who does not show mercy to our young or show esteem for our elders is not one of us.” Hadith – Bukhari’s Book of Manners #360, Abu Dawud, Tirmidhi, and Hakim

The Prophet’s (ﷺ ) character was such that his actions emanated mercy, patience, kindness, gentleness, justness, and sincerity to all.Anas (رضى الله عنه) said:“I served the Messenger of Allah when he was at home and on journeys from the time he came to Medina, to the day he died (ﷺ ). He never said to me about anything I had done, ‘Why did you do this?’ nor did he say to me about something I had not done, ‘Why didn’t you do such and such?’ (Al-Adab Al Mufrad)
Anas (رضى الله عنه) said:“Whenever Allah’s Apostle greeted somebody, he used to greet him three times, and if he spoke a sentence, he used to repeat it thrice”. (Sahih Bukhari: Book of seeking permission)

The Prophet (ﷺ ) said:“You must be gentle. Whenever there is gentleness in some matter, it adorns it and whenever it is taken away it disfigures it.”Such was the obedience and eagerness of the companions, subhanAllah, that after the revelation of this verse; it is narrated by Abdullah ibn al Zubayr that whenever Umar ibn al-Khattab wanted to speak to the Prophet (ﷺ ). He would talk almost in whispers to the point that the Prophet (ﷺ ) could hardly hear him and would ask him to repeat what he said.
Narrated by ‘Abdullah bin ‘Amr (رضى الله عنه) : The Prophet (ﷺ ) said, “Whoever has (the following) four characters will be a hypocrite, and whoever has one of the following four characteristics will have one characteristic of hypocrisy until he gives it up. These are: (1 ) Whenever he talks, he tells a lie; (2) whenever he makes a promise, he breaks it; (3) whenever he makes a covenant he proves treacherous; (4) and whenever he quarrels, he behaves impudently in an evil insulting manner.”(Sahih Bukhari & Sahih Muslim)

All the books of Hadith have chapters on Adab. For example:
1. Muwatta’, Imam Malik: The book of good behaviour
2. Sahih al-Bukhari: The book of manners
3. Sahih Muslim: The book of dutifulness, ties of kinship and manners.
4. Sunan Abi Dawud: The book of manners
5. Sunan at Tirmidhi: The book of manners, and the book of dutifulness and ties of kinship.
6. Sunan Ibn Majah: Chapters on Manners.

Narated By Anas : The Prophet said “None of you will have faith till he loves me more than his father, his children and all mankind.” Bukhari Volume 001, Book 002, Hadith Number 014.
Narated By Anas : The Prophet said, “Whoever possesses the following three qualities will have the sweetness (delight) of faith:
1. The one to whom Allah and His Apostle becomes dearer than anything else.
2. Who loves a person and he loves him only for Allah’s sake.
3. Who hates to revert to Atheism (disbelief) as he hates to be thrown into the fire.”

Narated By ‘Abdullah bin Hisham : We were with the Prophet and he was holding the hand of ‘Umar bin Al-Khattab. ‘Umar said to Him, “O Allah’s Apostle! You are dearer to me than everything except my own self.” The Prophet
said, “No, by Him in Whose Hand my soul is, (you will not have complete faith) till I am dearer to you than your own self.” Then ‘Umar said to him, “However, now, by Allah, you are dearer to me than my own self.” The Prophet said, “Now, O ‘Umar, (now you are a believer).”Bukhari Volume 008, Book 078, Hadith Number 628.
Narrated ‘Umar bin Al-Khattab: During the lifetime of the Prophet there was a man called ‘Abdullah whose nickname was Donkey, and he used to make Allah’s Apostle laugh. The Prophet lashed him because of drinking (alcohol). And one-day he was brought to the Prophet on the same charge and was lashed. On that, a man among the people said, “O Allah, curse him ! How frequently he has been brought (to the Prophet on such a charge)!” The Prophet
said, “Do not curse him, for by Allah, I know for he loves Allah and His Apostle.” Volume 8, Book 81, Number 771: (Sahih Bukhari)

When I want to talk to Allah I say prayers and when I want that he talk to me I recite quran- Hazrath Ali(ra)
