THE SAINTLY AND PROPHETIC OFFICES DEFINED.
THE first thing that God created was the Primal Element ( the primal element of the entire Universe). This according to the Quran He created of Himself without any medium whatever, and in infinitely less space of time than the twinkling of an eye. .This Primal Element is designated by various other names, such as the Primal Intelligence, the Constructive Spirit, the Pen, the Mightiest Spirit, the Spirit of Mohammed (or the Laudable Spirit), and the like.
MOHAMMED said, “The first thing which God created was my soul,” and again, “My soul was the Primal Element;” the two therefore are identical.
Has two functions1.that of receiving from God(saintly) 2.that of conveying to the world(Prophetic) and is the manifestation of the other.
Mohammed holds the office still- “I was a prophet while Adam was yet betwixt Earth and Clay,” and again, “There is no prophet after me.”
Each of the functions of the Primal Element requires an exponent.
The exponent of the Prophetic function was Mohammed, and he is the Seal of the Prophets.
The exponent of the Saintly function is Mehdí, the last of the Imams , who is yet to come.
ON THE INFLUENCE OF EARLY PREJUDICE UPON BELIEF.
Earnestness + devotion + faith + light of evidence+ Divine Grace +Submission= Knowledge, Will and Power.
light of evidence and Divine Grace = to understand His Knowledge, Will and Power .
care more for submission and resignation
Faith has been ripened into conviction by the rays of evidence and proof, recognize God as the Causer of Causes, and relying fully upon Him, rather than upon their own energy and efforts, or upon the things of this world, pass their lives in submission and resignation to His Will.
Hope +desire +affection=No superstitious fears or doubts(tawakkal on Allah)
True Unitarians=for they know and see the Unity of God with a clear and certain eye.(for with them God is all in all)
GROUNDS FOR THE DISCUSSION.
Man as a particular manifestation of the one Universal existence of God. To know oneself is the “right way”for guidance in which Mohammed besought God in his prayer, “Guide us into the right way .”
Self-knowledge is the shortest road to the knowledge of God.
Intelligence is in direct communication with God .
“From Him is the beginning, and unto Him is the return.” The saying of Mohammed, “He who has seen me has seen God,” refers to(Primal Intelligence).
When I want to talk to Allah I say prayers and when I want that he talk to me I recite quran- Hazrath Ali(ra)
