“Bismillahir Rahmannir Raheem”Al-Hamdu Lillaahi Rabbil ‘Aalameen was Salaatu was- Salaamu ‘Alaa Sayidinaa Muhammadin wa Aalihi wa Asabihi Ajma ‘een (tauheed- risalat- ahkirat and islam-iman-ihsan)
The Excellence of Durood Shareef (“Divine Blessings”)
Ibadat means to seek pleasure of almighty allah.
the concept of ‘ibadah/worship, is a broad based one encompassing all acts that are done to seek the pleasure of Almighty Allah.
All deeds inclusive of charity, alms, prayers, fasting, pilgrimage stand uncerain in the context of acceptance and acknowledgement. It is only hoped that they will (if Allah is Willing) be accepted.
In contrast to this, salât and salâm is accepted by Allah in any instance and is always definitely acknowledged. Even if a sinful person recites salât and salâm, his act of sending the greetings to the Prophet ﷺwill be acknowledged by all means.
It is not behooving on the part of Allah, that He may accept salât and salâm and not accept the other prayers in between salât and salâm.
The noble Prophet ﷺis the beloved of Allah (SWT). Thus Allah is pleased with anyone of His creation who sends salâm upon him.
As such blessings and salutations upon the Prophet ﷺis an ongoing process, an act for all times, securing its perpetual nature.
Since the deeds of the believers are presented to the Holy Prophet (ﷺ), if we send salât and salâm upon the Prophet ﷺthis constitutes a very good deed and pious act. It is presented to Prophet Muhammad ﷺwho praises Allah (SWT) in his happiness.
Greetings answered by the beloved Prophet of Allah, in itself, it is the greatest and worthiest reward for a Muslim.
The Prophet ﷺhimself condemned those who do not invoke blessings upon him. The reason is that Allah has raised the remembrance of his beloved Prophet ﷺand none has the authority to lessen it
One should read with the sole intention of pleasing Almighty Allah and Sayyiduna Rasoolullah ﷺ.
Darood o salaam is considered a dhik remembrance of Allah, and the dhikr of Allah can be done in any manner – standing, sitting or lying down.
Those who remember Allah while standing, sitting and lying on their sides (3/191).
If the standing position is said to be disliked as it constitutes a position reserved for the worship of Allah (SWT) alone, then sending blessings whilst sitting or lying down should also be banned as they are of equal merit and stature!
In sending salât, the reward is fixed by Allah (SWT). A Muslim will receive his tenfold reward or expiation of ten sins. In the case of sending peace and blessings, a Muslim receives manifold blessings in return.
A Believer who sends prayers receives spiritual wages in the form of forgiveness and blessings form Allah (SWT).
If a believer sends salâm upon the Prophet ﷺthe reward is much higher in rank and degree.Muslims who pay salâm upon the Prophet ﷺwill be given a reply and have the same returned to them by Almighty Allah and the angels.
One who offers salât, Allah exalts him, forgives his sins and Allah’s blessings are upon him. There is also no guarantee of the acceptance of a du‘â’ (supplication) without invoking blessings on the Prophet (ﷺ).
The Noble Prophet ﷺhas guaranteed the intercession for those who send salutations if they ask Allah (SWT) for it.
And Allah and His Messenger have greater right, that he should be gratified. Qur’an (at-Tawbah) 9/62.
Darood =sawaab/reward AND salam=jawab/nearness
In duniya =allah will reward you with salat AND ahkirat =filled with salam (allah’s sunnat)
Through angels =ajar e karim /reward
Through prophet(saws)=fazal e kabira /eternal highest blessings
Through ibadat=ajar/reward AND through nabi(saws)=fazl e karima
Ahkirat is higher than duniya
When I want to talk to allah I say prayers and when I want that he talk to me I recite quran- Hazrath Ali(ra)
Make sure you forward this to others .
