The Sunnah: The Practice and Lifestyle of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ

2/231- Do not treat Allah’s Signs as a jest, but solemnly remember Allah’s favors on you, and the fact that He sent down to you the Book and Wisdom, for your instruction……

The arrival of the Holy Prophet () is the greatest favour of Allah upon us.

3/164:Allah did confer a great favour on the Believers when He sent among them a Messenger from among themselves, rehearsing unto them the Signs of Allah, sanctifying them, and instructing them in Scripture and Wisdom, while before that, they had been in manifest error.

93/11. For the Gift of thy Lord; Rehearse and proclaim!

“Say, If you love Allah, follow me, Allah will love you” Quran (3/31)

7/157 -It is those who believe in him, honour him (respect and revere), help him and follow the light, which is sent down with him. It is they who will achieve success.

Prophet mohammed ﷺ is light and sahibe quran .sucessful are those who belive in zaat ,ittiba,helping and keeping spiritual contact with prophet mohammed ﷺ .Allah (Almighty and Glorious is He) has laid down four conditions for success. Those who fulfil these are promised that they will not be debased and will be successful.

Perfect belief in the Messenger of Allah (), and not entertaining an atom of no doubt about his matchless qualities;

Loving and honoring him ,Assisting the way of life (din) brought by him, when it is under attack, by sacrificing ones wealth and life;

Following with love the light in the breasts of the Awliya Allah .This is the Divine Guarantee of success .

Sound belief or Iman is respect and love for Holy Prophet () .The greater one’s respect and love for him, the more perfect is one’s Iman.

Allah (Almighty and Glorious is He) has expounded this love for the Holy Prophet () by His own practice or the Practice of Allah.

90/1-3Allah bestows honour on the city in which contains his beloved’s house, where he was born. If the ‘waw’ of wa anta hillum is read as the ‘wow’ of (hal) or condition then it means: ‘I swear by this city because the feet of my beloved touch the soil of the city when he walks on it thus increasing it in honour.’ If the ‘la’ of la uksimu is read as (negation) or (nafia) then it means, ” I will not swear by this city of Mecca” when you are not free to walk here. Then I will swear by Madinah, where your blessed breath perfumes the winds, where you live, where you walk. I swear by all this as an example to my creation of the love I have for you.” (Izhare Mahboobiat)”

According to commentators of the Holy Qur’aan, when Allah swears by anything, he raises it in the estimation of the people for the purpose of honouring and emphasising its importance. “I exalt this city, I bestow honour on this city.” “Walidew” ” I swear by your parents and your lineage that carried your nur ” “Walad” –  “I swear by your Meelad.”

93/1-3 The revelations had ceased for a while and the disbeliever’s taunted the Holy Prophet () that his Allah had forsaken him.

Shah Abd al-Aziz Of Delhi (Ra) in Tafsir Azizia….Allah swears by His beloved’s city, face, hair, lineage and birth to expound the fact that loving Rasulallah and everything attached to him is Allah’s practice or Sunnat.
