“Bismillahir Rahmannir Raheem”Al-Hamdu Lillaahi Rabbil ‘Aalameen was Salaatu was- Salaamu ‘Alaa Sayidinaa Muhammadin wa Aalihi wa Asabihi Ajma ‘een (tauheed- risalat- ahkirat and islam-iman-ihsan)

Nabi Muhammad (s) saw a person sitting on a qabr and told him: “Do not harm the person in the qabr and he will not harm you.” (Ibn Hanbal, Hakim and Tabarani)
“My entire Ummah was presented before me with each individual’s scroll of deeds, good as well as bad.”(Muslim Shareef, Volume 1, Page 207, Musnad-i-Ahmad, Ibn Majah)
It has been stated that the life of a Muslim before and after his death are the same (i.e. they should be respected equally). – Mishkaat, Baabud-Dafn and Mirqaat
The Prophet(saws) used to say in his supplication when performing the prayer over the dead, “O Allah, whomever of us you make to live, let him live in Islam, and whomever of us you make to die, let him die in iman,”(ahmad)
“If
anyone recites Ya-Sin out of a desire for Allah’s favour, his past sins will be
forgiven him; so recite it over those of you who are dying.”Bayhaqi
transmitted it in Shu’ab al-Iman.Al-Tirmidhi Hadith No:2178
This is a du’a which Rasulullah (saws) recited to Ummu Salamah (Ra) at the death of her husband: “O Allah! Forgive Abu Salamah, elevate his status among the guided people and look after the family that he left behind. O Lord of the universe! Forgive us and him, comfort him in his grave and lighten his stay (in the grave).” (Muslim)
“I forbade you from visiting the graves but now you should visit them” (ibn Majah, Mishkat p.154)
“Whoever visits his parents’ graves or visits one of their graves every Friday, then he will be forgiven and will be written as being one of the pious” (Mishkat page 154).
“Three things follow a dead man, two of
which will return and one will remain with him. His people, his property and
his deeds follow him but his people and property return, while his deeds remain
with him.” (bukhari (8/ 521)
Ummul Momineen Aisha (ra) narrates that: “When Prophet (saws) used to stay with her, in the last part of the night he used to go to the graveyard of Madinah (Muslim, Mishkat page 154)
When I want to talk to allah I say prayers and when I want that he talk to me I recite quran- Hazrath Ali(ra)
