Shabe baraat 8

Surely, there has passed over man a period of time when he was not a thing worth mentioning.76/1

“Each one of you is constituted in the womb of the mother for forty days, and then he becomes a clot of thick blood for a similar period, and then a piece of flesh for a similar period. Then Allah sends an angel who is ordered to write four things. He is ordered to write down his deeds, his livelihood, his (date of) death, and whether he will be blessed or wretched (in religion). Then the soul is breathed into him…” (Sahih al-Bukhari no: 3036).

Imam Ibn Abidin (ra) states:“The soul enters the foetus at 120 days (4 months), as established by the Hadith.” (Radd al-Muhtar ala Durr al-Mukhtar 1/202)

Indeed, man is at a loss (for he is losing his valuable lifetime), Except for those who believe and do good deeds and exhort one another to truth and exhort one another to patience (in the face of hardships and afflictions that are faced whilst preaching the Din [Religion] of truth).103/2-3

How can you deny Allah, whereas you were lifeless and He gave you life, then He will cause you to die and will again bring you back to life, and then to Him you will be returned?2/28

And I created the jinn and human beings solely to adopt My servitude.51/56

“Be in this world as though you were a stranger or a traveler/wayfarer.” (bukhari)

He Who has created death and life (so that) He may test you as to which of you is best in conduct. And He is Almighty, Most Forgiving;67/2

O my people! The life of this world is nothing but (a few days’) gain, and the Hereafter is certainly a home to live in forever.40/39

And bear in mind that your riches and your children are nothing but a trial, and that with Allah alone lies the highest reward.8/28

Say: ‘My Prayer, my Hajj (Pilgrimage) and my sacrifice (together with the entire worship and servitude) and my life and my death are for Allah alone, the Lord of all the worlds.6/162

Surely, Allah has bought from the believers their souls and wealth in return for (the promise of) Paradise for them. …..9/111

Verily, Allah does not change the state of a people until they bring about a change in themselves. 13/11

When I want to talk to allah I say prayers and when I want that he talk to me I recite quran- Hazrath Ali(ra)
