Iman-Fitna Disrespect

Iman, Shariath

“Bismillahir Rahmannir Raheem”Al-Hamdu Lillaahi Rabbil ‘Aalameen was Salaatu was- Salaamu ‘Alaa Sayidinaa Muhammadin wa Aalihi wa Asabihi Ajma ‘een (tauheed- risalat- ahkirat and islam-iman-ihsan)

DISRESPECT TO ALLAH AND HIS PROPHET IS WORSE THAN IDOL-WORSHIP:

The action of calling Allah a liar or insulting the Prophet are equally the acts of disbelief but the acts of disrespecting Allah and His Prophet are definitely more serious than worshipping idol.

The reason is that worshipping an idol is a symbolic denial of Allah, but this symbolic denial, is not equal to the actual denial.

The Islamic law has condemned idolatory by the non-Muslims as disbelief because it falls into a pattern of disbelief in their life-style.

On the contrary, talking ill of Prophet Muhammad(PBUH) is in itself a disbelief, which leaves no chance of Islamic belief left in this case.

“They have become disbelievers after embracing Islam, because they have madea particular statement.” (quran)

“Make no excuses; you havebecome disbelievers after embracing Islam”. (quran)

“Believe you in part of the Scripture and disbeliever you in pray thereof? And what is the reward of those who do so save ignominy in the life of the world, and on the Day of Resurrection they will be consigned to themost grievous doom. For Allah is not unaware of what you do. Suchare those who buy the life of the world at the price of the Hereafter.Their punishment will not be lightened, neither will they have support.” (2/85 –86)

The Islamic faith requires that every statement should be accepted. If somebody accepts 999 and does not accept only one, the glorious Quran says that he is not a Muslim for having accepted 999. The Quranic Command is that he is a disbeliever/kafir  because he has not accepted one statement of Allah .

The Muslim scholars, will not declare him as a disbeliever, because out of 21 shades of meaning 20 went towards disbelief but one came towards Islam. They will exercise due care and give him the benefit of the doubt and consider this good aspect unless it is proved that so and so  had the intention of expressing one of the 20 shades of disbelief. This sort of care and benefit of the doubt cannot be extended to an insolent man, whosays that Allah’s words are lies or uses insulting language about the Prophet of Islam, because this matter is so serious that he must be called a disbeliever. Not to call him adisbeliever is to accept disbelief as Islam, Anybody who accepts disbelief as Islam is himself a disbeliever, authentic books like Shifa,Bazazia, Darar, Daher, Naher, Fataawa-E-Khairlyah, Majma-ul-Anher and Durr-E-Mukhtar etc, have stated  that any person who insults the Prophet (Peace be upon him)is a disbeliever, and that a person who doubts his disbelief will himself become adisbeliever.

“Those who do wrong will come to know by what a great reverse they willbe overturned”, (26/227)

“They swear by Allah that they said nothing, (wrong). yet they did say the word of disbelief and did disbelieve aftertheir surrender (to Allah).”It’s a fact that liars often deny their own words.

“Who debar men from the Way-of Allah and have It crooked” (9/19 )

O ye who believe, if an evil-liver brings you tiding, veryfy it.  Only they invent falsehood who believe not And Allah Says And (Solemnly)invoke the curse of Allah upon those who lie (3/61)

Since they produce no witnesses, they verily are liars in the sight of Allah (24/13)

And that Allah will never guide the snare of the false ones-(12/52)

“Say : bring your proof (of what you state) if you are truthful.” (2/3)

“Say: Truth has come and falsehood has vanished away. Lo! Falsehood isever bound to vanish.”

And He Says: “There is no compulsion in religion. The right direction is hence forthdistinct from error.” (2/256)

The aim (Maqsad) of faith (Iman) is to establish oneness (Tauhid).

Within the Science of the Pursuit of Spirituality (Tasawwuf) all existence is one (tauhid- i- wujudi).

The Sufis and the Verifiers (muhaqqiqun) have realized Allah’s Unity within themselves. They, the ahl al-kashf wa’l wujud or ‘The People of Unveiling and Finding’, have taught us that the key to unlock the treasures of Tauhid is Risalat or the Messenger of Allah.

The aim (Maqsad) of Risalat is Iteba or ‘Following with Love’.The key to open the treasures of Iteba or ‘Following with Love’ is Ishq and Adab ( love and respect) .

Hazrath Shaykh Abd al-Qaadir al-Jilaani (ra) says that it is important that every believer observe adab under all circumstances.

Respect Of The Holy Prophet (ﷺ) Is Respect For Allah (SUBHANU WAATALA)

(49/1)O Believers! Do not commit any excess [put not yourselves forward] before Allah(SUBHANU WAATALA)and His Messengere; and fear Allah(SUBHANU WAATALA), Surely Allah(SUBHANU WAATALA)Hears, Knows.

This noble Sura begins with the refined manner (adab) that Allah (SUBHANU WAATALA)has taught the believers to conduct themselves, with respect to the Sacred Law (Shariah) of Allah (SUBHANU WAATALA)and the authority of His Beloved Messenger (ﷺ).

Amongst many reasons given for this revelation, the one given by al-Tabrani who cites Hazrath Hassan Basri (radi Allahutala anhu), that this was revealed on the occasion of ‘The Festival of Sacrifice’ (Id al-Adha) when some Companions of the Holy Prophet (Sahaba) performed their sacrifice (Qurbani) before the Holy Prophet had made his sacrifice and Allah(SUBHANU WAATALA)revealed this verse.

The Sacred law (Shariah) declares that the sacrificial animal be cut after the Festive Prayer (salat-al-‘Id) but respect (adab) says cut after the Holy Prophet (ﷺ) or the Sacrifice (Qurbani)  is not accepted. Any act of Servitude to Allah(SUBHANU WAATALA)(Ibaadat) has to be offered with Adab e Rasul (ﷺ)

Disrespect of the Messenger of Allah is disrespect to Allah (SUBHANU WAATALA). Hence, loyalty to the Messenger of Allah  is loyalty to Allah (SUBHANU WAATALA).

There should be a balance between the teaching of Allah (SUBHANU WAATALA)’s Unity (Tauhid) and the Concept of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) (Risaalat). One should not try and belittle the Holy Prophet (ﷺ)’s status in the name of one’s own narrow understanding of Tauhid.

When I want to talk to Allah I say prayers and when I want that he talk to me I recite quran- Hazrath Ali(ra)

Make sure you forward this to others .
