Ilm-Hidayat And Niyyat

“Bismillahir Rahmannir Raheem”Al-Hamdu Lillaahi Rabbil ‘Aalameen was Salaatu was- Salaamu ‘Alaa Sayidinaa Muhammadin wa Aalihi wa Asabihi Ajma ‘een (tauheed- risalat- ahkirat and islam-iman-ihsan)

ILM-HIDAYAT-NIYYAT

Ilm means hidayat/guidance

Hidayat means to seek Allah (qurb) (always start with bismillah for barakah/blessings)s

Niyyat means to please Allah (raza)

Hidayat /guidance =gift from Allah, gives good results, fruit of knowledge

If you work for Allah’s deen –Allah will work for you (his creation works for you)

Good amaal/deeds attack  nafs (makes it weak) and protects ilm/knowledge.

Ilm+amal= nature (personality)

Amal with sidq/iqlas becomes noor (exposed to celestial world)

Kaifiyat e qalb=haal /state of heart

Maqam =station of heart

Barakah depends on niyyat/intention not on amal/deed

Advice /nasihat= ilm e deen + kidmat e deen  (learn from ahle sunnat wal jamaat scholars and sufi shaiks of various tariqas)

Sufi shaik’s are soft hearted/sakhi (good ahklaq)

Never fight for personal reasons(nafs), fight for Allah’s and his rasool’sﷺ  pleasure.

Niyyat decides approved/disapproved amal or good deed/bad deed.

Niyyat =sidq e qalb

Niyyat =no duniya when dealing creation (for gaining raza/pleasure of Allah)

Niyyat = no I/SELF/EGO/NAFS when dealing with Allah (for the sake of Allah)

Blessings depend on niyyat (don’t keep creation/amal in your mind/sight just keep sight on Allah ,he is watching you)

Intention/niyyat(sincere to Allah AND to seek his pleasure)

It differentiate worship of Allah alone (tawheed) from worship of something along with Allah(shirk)

It differentiate between worshiping  Allah correctly and worshipping him incorrectly or not at all.

If the intention is good ,the result will be good AND if the intention Is bad ,the result will be bad.

2 people may do the same deed, but the result may be different based on intention (rewarded/punished).

Rewarded =if done for Allah’s pleasure/sincerely for his sake.

Deed is converted to act of worship/ibadat  based on intention.

Permissible deeds into acts of obedience to Allah.

People with marifat/truly knowing Allah routine deeds of life become acts of worship/ibadat.

Those without marifat/iqlas e niyyat ritual acts of worship become routine.

ADAB E ILM

Be ignorant in front of a scholar/alim

Be with love/adab in front of zaahid/muttaqi

Be silent in front of arif

knowledge guarded with taqwa (rahmani/noor)

knowledge guarded without taqwa (shaitani/dark)

knowledgeable person =whose basirat /spiritual eyes of heart are opened. 

TALIB E ILM

Intention is to seek haqq/truth.

Should be sadiq /truthfull in seeking

Should implement /practice haqq/truth (ilm+taqwa-duniya).

Tabligh must be done with baseerat/eyes of heart and hikmat/wisdom.

Talib =talab e ilm e deen(to seek knowledge) and kidmate deen (to serve the deen with knowledge).

Talib= spread the ilm +to revive the deen (be sincere/sidq in your pursuit)

Kidmate e deen =to please Allah(no show off) and work as a servant of rasoolAllahﷺ .

Seeking duniya out of ilm e deen or khidmat e deen=loser

(Talib e ilm) gaining ilm/knowledge=Intention should be to please Allah and serve the deen (khidmate deen)

Fruit of knowledge is acting upon it.

Seeking knowledge must increase god counciousness.

When I want to talk to allah I say prayers and when I want that he talk to me I recite quran- Hazrath Ali(ra)
