Dieseases Of The Heart-Sins Effects

SINS

Create a black spot on the heart (polished with repentance)

Weakens power of heart

Deprivation of knowledge leading to corrupt mind.

Disbelief /innovation /misguidance

Heart is in a state of worries and anxiety.

Future leads to worry AND past leads to grief.

Negligence leads to inability AND lack of will power leads to laziness.

Lack of benefit due to a cause in the body leads to cowardness AND because of wealth leads to miserliness.

Others acting in a superior manner with justification =debts

Others acting in a superior manner without  justification =oppression

Desires contradict the commandments of Allah

Heedlessness contradict the remembrance of Allah

Passion contradict the sincerity of Allah

Mistakes are expected as part of human experience ,for this reason doors of repentance are always opened.

Human nature is to err or commit sin (consequence of free will and finite attributes that he gave us)

Free will =accountability for our choices(connected with reward and punishment in here n hereafter).

Sinning =takes you away from Allah

Repentance =returning towards Allah (state of fitrah)

Divine attributes of mercy and forgiveness = for those who repent.

(His mercy overcomes his anger)

Allah forgives sins each and every time that the servant repents sincerely-regardless of the number,severity or repetation of sins. The key ,of course is sincere repentance.

Immediate cessation of the sin

 Seeking forgiveness from Allah alone

Feeling regret and distress for having sinned

Determination not to return to the sin

Restitution of other people’s rights(if appropriate)

Keep doing good deeds (erases bad deeds)

Always keep  doing sincere toubah (don’t dig and repent for a particular sin,be general)

Remoarse and not repeating  is what counts .

Dua =O Allah ,you’re my lord and I’m your slave .I confess to you all my sins,forgive my sins.for nobody can forgive sins except you.

Dua=Iam faithful to my covenant and my promise as much as I can be. I seek refuge with you from all the evil I have done.

Repeat astaqfar(controlling desires), cleanses the heart.

Repentance is an act of worship (purification)through which the human may attain salvation and peace.

Purification starts with repentance(purpose of life-worshipping Allah alone).

Genuine repentance not only erases what came before it but also turns sins into good deeds (or from bad guy to good guy).

Repentance develops  the person’s love for Allah ,due to realization of his mercy,forgiveness and love for his servant.

Relief from the feelings of guilt and shame  is an indication that the repentance has been accepted  by Allah.

When I want to talk to allah I say prayers and when I want that he talk to me I recite quran- Hazrath Ali(ra)
