Love And Respect For The Prophet 2

Love And Respect, Tariqat

“Bismillahir Rahmannir Raheem”Al-Hamdu Lillaahi Rabbil ‘Aalameen was Salaatu was- Salaamu ‘Alaa Sayidinaa Muhammadin wa Aalihi wa Asabihi Ajma ‘een (tauheed- risalat- ahkirat and islam-iman-ihsan)

Love and respect towards rasoolallah(ﷺ)

In spite of the fact that lovers of Prophet (ﷺ) consider him to be an “Abd (Slave) of Allah” and they have no intentions of comparing the Prophet (ﷺ) to Allah azza Wajjal (Naudhobillah), the comparison only comes due to ill thinking of opponents who look for ways just to accuse Muslims of Shirk and Kufr but what they forget is that their false takfir would return back on the accuser rather than it being applicable on the accused.

49/2:O Believers don’t raise your voice above the pitch of the voice of the Holy Prophet e and don’t speak with him as you speak to one another. If you make this error all your deeds will be cancelled and you won’t realize it.

It is reported in Sahih Al-Bukhari Hadith 6.368 and narrated by Ibn Abi Mulaika ra that two righteous persons were about to be ruined. They were Hazrath Abu Bakr ra and Hazrath Umar ra who raised their voices in the presence of the Prophet when a mission from Bani Tamim came to him. One of the two recommended Al-Aqra’ bin Habis, the brother of Bani Mujashi (to be their governor) while the other recommended somebody else. (Nafi’, the sub-narrator said, I do not remember his name). Abu Bakr ra said to Umar ra, “You wanted nothing but to oppose me!” ‘Umar said, “I did not intend to oppose you.” Their voices grew loud in that argument, so Allah swt  revealed the 49/2.

Ibn Az-Zubair said, “Since the revelation of this Verse, ‘Umar ra used to speak in such a low tone that the Prophet ﷺ had to ask him to repeat his statements.”

This warning is for all time, how much more should we not fear that punishment?

In another Hadith it is said that Umar ra became so affected by this that thereafter he lowered his voice so much that whenever he spoke he had to be asked to repeat his words. Abu Bakr ra said, “O’ Messenger of Allah! from now on I shall address you as if I am talking to you about something secret.”

It is reported that Thabit bin Qais ra used to have a naturally loud voice. Since the above verse was revealed he became immensely sad and distressed saying, “I shall enter Jahannam for I always speak loudly.” Thereafter he confined himself to his house, not setting foot from there. A few days later the Holy Prophet ﷺ on missing him, inquired about him and was informed about what happened. The Holy Prophet ﷺ consoled him and gave him the glad tidings of him being one of the inmates of Heaven (Jannah). He still continued crying and said, “your Reverence and respect (Tazeem-o-Adab) is greater than Heaven (Jannah).”

Allah says, “Say: ‘If it be that your fathers, your sons, your brothers, your mates, or your kindred; the wealth that ye have gained; the commerce in which ye fear a decline: or the dwellings in which ye delight – are dearer to you than Allah, or His Messenger, or the striving in His cause;- then wait until Allah brings about His decision: and Allah guides not the rebellious.” (9/24)This is an Explicit “Nass” in Quran that Allah and his Prophet (ﷺ) should be dearer to us than everything in the world i.e. our wealths, children, parents etc…

Allah says, “All who obey Allah and the apostle are in the company of those on whom is the Grace of Allah,- of the prophets (who teach), the sincere (lovers of Truth), the witnesses (who testify), and the Righteous (who do good): Ah! what a beautiful fellowship”(4/69)

Abu Bakr bin Marduwyah recorded it with a different chain from `A’ishah, who said; “A man came to the Prophet and said to him, `O Messenger of Allah! You are more beloved to me than myself, my family and children. Sometimes, when I am at home, I remember you, and I cannot wait until I come and look at you. When I contemplate about my death and your death, I know that you will be with the Prophets when you enter Paradise. I fear that I might not see you when I enter Paradise.’ The Prophet did not answer him until the Ayah, (And whoever obeys Allah and the Messenger, then they will be in the company of those on whom Allah has bestowed His grace, of the Prophets, the true believers, the martyrs, and the righteous. And how excellent these companions are!) was revealed to him.” This was collected by Al-Hafiz Abu `Abdullah Al-Maqdisi in his book, Sifat Al-Jannah, he then commented, “I do not see problems with this chain.” And Allah knows best.

When I want to talk to allah I say prayers and when I want that he talk to me I recite quran- Hazrath Ali(ra)
