Fitna /Confusions

“Recite unto them the tale of him to whom We gave Our revelations, but he sloughed them off, So Satan overtook him and became of those led astray. ..7/175

…He whom Allah leads, he indeed is led aright, while he who Allah sends astray-they indeed are losers,” (7/178)

O believers! Enter Islam perfectly and wholly,…..2/208

….and remain in the (company) of those who uphold the truth.9/119

 “O people, I have left among you something of such a nature that if you adhere to it you will not go astray: Allah’s Book and my close relatives who belong to my household(ahle baith).” (Most most important )[Sunan Tirmidhi Volume 005, Book 162, Hadith Number 3718]

……You will never go astray as long as you follow these two things. One of these two things is Allah’s Holy Book (the Holy Quran) and the other is the Sunnah of his Holy Prophet (ﷺ).” (Muwatta Imam Malik)

…. Those that follow my way and that of my companions(saved group).” [ Sunan tirmidhi 18:2650, sunan Abu Dawud, and al-Darimi related it.]

“…Are those who follow my and my Sahaba’s path(saved sect)” (Tirmidhi, vol. 2, pg. 89) 

…..This community will be split up into 73, seventy-two of them will go to Hell and one of them will go to Paradise, and it is the majority group (Jama’ah).’  (Abu Dawood in his Sunan 3/4580 -2/503), Ahmad (4/102) and al-Haakim (1/128))

…”The Jews separated into 71 sects, 70 of which are in the fire; the Christians into 72 sects, 71 of which are in the fire; and this Community will separate into 73 sects, all of them are in the fire except one which will enter Paradise.” We said: “Describe it for us.” He said: “The Sawad al-a`zam [the majority group ] .”[ Haythami in Majma` al-zawa’id: Tabarani in al-Mu`jam al-kabir and al-Awsat)

“Follow the great mass (as-Sawad al-Azam) for he who kept himself away from it, in fact would be thrown in Hell Fire.” (Ibn Majah; vide: Mishkat, 1/174, by A.H. Siddiqui). 

Imam Sufyan Souri (ra) states: “By Sawad-e-Azam is meant those who are called the Ahle Sunnat Wal Jamaat”. (Al Mizaanul Qubra)

Hafiz Ibn Hajar al-Haytami states: “Man of bid’ah means one whose beliefs are different from the Ahl as-Sunnah faith. ..(al-Fatawa al-Hadithiyya (pg. 205)

…”Allah will never allow my Ummah to unite upon misguidance and incorrect beliefs. Allah’s mercy, blessings and protection are with the largest group of Muslims. And he who deviates from this largest group of Muslims will be thrown into Hell.” (Tirmizi)

… “Two are better than one, and three better than two; so stick to the Jama’ah for verily Allah, Most Great and Glorious, will only unite my nation on guidance.” (Ahmad (4/102) ,al-Haakim (1/128),Abu Dawood (2/503),

“Whoever cherishes me and whoever loves me will be with me in Jannah” {Tirmizi #2678}

“I bid you to do five things: 1.to remain attached to the main body (Jama’ah of Muslims), 2.listen to your ruler (the Khalif of the Islamic state) and obey him, 3.And migrate, and fight in the way of Allah. 4.And he who detaches himself from the main body of the Muslims (Jama’ah) to the extent of one span of hand, he in fact, throws off the yoke of Islam from his neck, 5.And he who calls with the call of ignorance, he is one from the denizens of Hell beyond doubt, even if he observes fast and says prayers and considers himself as a Muslim.” (Musnad Ahmad)
