THE ETIQUETTE OF DRESSING-Women
A woman should make herself beautiful at home for her husband.
A woman’s perfume should be such that it does not give out a strong fragrance.
A woman should not wear thin (see through) or tight clothing.
Women should not wear jewelry that makes a sound (attracts attention).
Those women who imitate the appearance of men, (physical and dress) incur the wrath of Allah .
To use black dye is forbidden and to use henna is permissible.
If the eyebrows are too long then they may be trimmed, only if they have over grown. It is permissible to remove the hair of the arms and the legs. To take off the hair from the chest and back is not recommended. You can remove the hair from the arms, feet and stomach.
To have silk, gold or silver is permissible for women. do not spoil it with extravagance and pride.
Do not dress boys in the clothing of girls and do not dress girls in clothing of the boys.
females must wear scarves at all times.
females must ensure that their lower garments cover their ankles.
Four things should be buried-blood, hair, nails and the cloth that has been used for the menstrual period (Haiz).
Men
All the clothing (including shoes) must be worn from the right-hand side followed by the left and when taking it off, take it from the opposite side (meaning the left-hand side), this is the blessed Sunnah.

Wear the lower garment whilst sitting down and the Amama (head gear) whilst standing.
Our clothes should be neat and clean .
To wear your new clothes on Friday as it is Sunnah.
To wipe your nose or face keep a small handkerchief(don’t use sleeves)
Always pray ‘Bismillah” when wearing and taking the clothes off (as the devil and jinn look at you if you don’t).
Do not wear clothing that has pictures or dress children in them either.
When taking the clothes off, fold them and do not leave them laying around as Shaytan uses them.
Men should keep their lower garments above their ankles.
gold and silk strictly forbidden for the men .
Do not walk while wearing one shoe only, either wear both shoes or remove both.
To wear short sleeves is against the Sunnah. The sleeves of the kurta must be up to the wrists.
When removing one’s clothes -Recite “Bismillah” Shareef when taking off the clothes, as this creates a veil from humans and devils.
When putting on a new dress: AlHamdu lillaahil-lazee kasaanee maa uwaariya bihi auraatee wa atajam-malu bihi fee hayaatee. “All praise is due to Allah, who has clothed me so that I may hide my nakedness and so that I may adorn myself while I am alive.”
THE ETIQUETTE OF TRAVELLING
Before one sets out on a journey, make sure to return all trusts to their owners, settles any debts, and keep sufficient provisions for family, return anything taken unjustly to its rightful owner Or else on the day of judgement , it will be taken from his good deeds and given to his brother, and if he had no good deeds, bad deeds will be taken from his brother and thrown upon him.
Before returning from a journey, one should inform his spouse of his expected arrival. Preferably arrive in the daylight not midnight.
One should not delay returning to his family after he has finished his business.
donot travel alone at night, be carefull.
when you reach your home town ,first go to the mosque and pray two Raka’s.
keep to the rear when travelling with other vehicles and urge on the week to join you make them sit behind you and pray for them.
It is good to perform Nafl Salaah before going on a journey.
prefer to commence a journey on a Thursdays.
at least three persons should travel together not single.It is excellent for four persons to travel in company. If three persons travel together, one among them should be chosen as an Amir.
If one has a sufficient supply of food and drink, one should consider those (companions) who have little.
When one returns from a long journey at night, one should not go home. (if one had not informed his family of ones arrival).
The leader of a group is the one who forgoes his own needs for the service of others.
None except a Shaheed (martyr) can exceed him in reward if he does so. If encamping in the open/wilderness, do not camp on the pathway, as different types of
one should return home as soon as possible.
When seated on a mount or a vehicle: -AlHamdu lillah – Subhaanallazee sakh-khara lanaa haaza wa maa kun-naa lahoo muqrineena wa innaa ilaa rabbenaa lamunqaliboon. -“All Praise is for Allah – Pure is He Who has put this (mount) in our control whereas we could not have subjugated it, and indeed we are to return to our Lord.”
When visiting a market: (4th kalima)-Laa ilaaha Ill-Allahu wahdahoo laa shareeka lah – lahul-mulku wa lahul-hamdu yuhyee wa yumeetu wa huwa hayyul-laa yamootu beyadehil-Khair; wa huwa alaa kulle shaeyin qadeer. “There is none worthy of worship (God) except Allah, He is One, He has no partner – for Him is the kingdom and all praise – it is He Who gives life and it is He Who gives death, and He is Alive by Himself, He will never die; in His Hands lies all goodness and He is Able to do all things.”
When I want to talk to allah I say prayers and when I want that he talk to me I recite quran- Hazrath Ali(ra)
