Nafs-Surah Fathiha (Ammara)

“Bismillahir Rahmannir Raheem”Al-Hamdu Lillaahi Rabbil ‘Aalameen was Salaatu was- Salaamu ‘Alaa Sayidinaa Muhammadin wa Aalihi wa Asabihi Ajma ‘een (tauheed- risalat- ahkirat and islam-iman-ihsan)

NAFS AND SURAH FATHIHA

GENERAL NAFS(AMMARA) AND SURAH FATHIHA

General nafs (ammara/temperament of self /inciting evil) =desires , gazab/anger, zulm/oppression, shawat/lust and orientation

More desires = self praising (worshipping Allah)

More gazab/anger= takabbur/riya (arrogance/show off) (ask Allah to help)

More shahwat=bad ahklaq/bad character (ask for sirate mustaqim)

TREATMENT

1.keep reciting and practicing surah fathiha

2. Poverty/faqr =no hawas/gazab/shahwat.

1.HAWAS/DESIRES(SHAITANIC WASWAS)

DESIRES

1.desires of jism/body

2.desires of brain/wijdan-khayal/thought

3.desires of ruh/spiritual

People of desires of body and thought doesn’t know the beauty of desires of ruh (huzoori/presence in front of Allah).

I want everything and others shouldnot get it

If others get that-hasad (results in degrading of that person)

Hasad=means challenging the decision of Allah .

Allah is the rub/sustainer/nourshier for all.

Ilaah=fulfiller of needs

Rab/sustainer =kamal/perfectionist

Every action/wealth belongs to Allah alone.

Comparison causes hasad/jealouscy (don’t compare yourself with others).

Hasad leads to kufr (iblis became kafir because of hasad on prophet adam(as))

Iblis compared himself with adam(as)

Shaiteen means people of hasad/jealouscy .

Be happy/shukr with what Allah has given you.

Shukr =your wish must merge with Allah’s wish, so be happy with Allah’s decision.

TREATMENT

surah fathiha ayah 1(Alhamdu lillaahi Rabbil ‘aalameen)

Allah gave him and get pleased with his decision.

Be contained in your life (shukr/thank=Allah will give you more )

Say “O Allah reward him more and more” (you will also be rewarded )

Be happy with decision of Allah rather than being happy with your nafs.

Nothing is ours (wealth/life) ,it’s a trust/amanah from Allah so spend accordingly with sharia.

When I want to talk to allah I say prayers and when I want that he talk to me I recite quran- Hazrath Ali(ra)
