“Bismillahir Rahmannir Raheem”Al-Hamdu Lillaahi Rabbil ‘Aalameen was Salaatu was- Salaamu ‘Alaa Sayidinaa Muhammadin wa Aalihi wa Asabihi Ajma ‘een (tauheed- risalat- ahkirat and islam-iman-ihsan)
16/97. Whoever performs pious works, man or woman, provided he or she is a believer, We will surely let such a person live a life of purity, and will indeed reward them (as well) their wage of the righteous works which they used to do.
8/45. O believers! When you encounter any (enemy) army, stand firm and remember Allah abundantly so that you may attain to success.
13/28.. Those who believe and their hearts become calm and contented with the remembrance of Allah—know that it is the remembrance of Allah alone that brings calm to the hearts.
33/35……and the men who remember Allah abundantly and the women who remember Allah very much—Allah has prepared for all of them forgiveness and a mighty reward.
2/152. So remember Me, I shall remember you. And always be thankful to Me and never be ungrateful to Me.
4/103. So, (O Muslims,) when you have finished your Prayers, remember Allah (in all postures:) standing, sitting and (lying down) on your sides.
58/19. Satan has gained mastery over them. So he has made them forget the remembrance of Allah. It is they who are Satan’s army….
And remember Allah much so that you may attain to prosperity. 62/8
43/36-38. And whoever turns away from the remembrance of the Most Kind (Lord), We appoint a Satan to dominate him and stick to him constantly.
And (also) do not follow him whose heart We have made neglectful of Our remembrance, and who follows but the urge of his (ill-commanding self) and his case has exceeded all bounds. 18/28
21/8….So, (O people,) if you do not know (yourselves), ask the people of remembrance.
(Blessed with this Light) are those servants of (Allah) whom neither trade nor sale diverts from the remembrance of Allah …24/35
Surely, prayer prohibits indecency and impiety; and verily, the remembrance of Allah is the greatest. 29/45
63/9.. O believers! Let not your wealth and your children make you neglectful of the very remembrance of Allah
20/124..And whoever turns away from My direction and guidance (i.e., remembrance and advice), his worldly sustenance will be narrowed, and We shall raise him blind on the Day of Resurrection (as well).’
O believers! Keep remembering Allah abundantly And glorify Him morning and evening.33/42
When the signs of the Gracious Allah are recited unto them, they fall down, prostrating themselves before Allah weeping.(19/59)
“Then their skins and their hearts soften to the remembrance of Allah” (39/23)
“So hasten towards all that is good”. (2/148)
The hearts of the unbelievers are “hardened against the remembrance of God” 39/22. “Those who have faith, their hearts being at peace in God’s remembrance.” 13/28.
“Remember Me and I will remember you.” 2/152
“Say if you love God, follow me and God will love you.” 3/31.
“You have the best example in the Messenger, for whoever hopes for God, the last day, and remembers God frequently.” 33/21.
Indeed, the Prophet said that the People of Paradise will only regret one thing: not having made enough dhikr in the world! Allah says in His holy Book: “O Believers, make abundant mention of ALLAH!” (33/41)
DHIKR /REMEMBRANCE IS PLACED ABOVE SALAAH/PRAYER
Allah placed His remembrance above prayer in value by making prayer the means and remembrance the goal. He said:“Lo! Worship guards one from lewdness and iniquity, but verily, remembrance of Allah is greater/more important.” (29/45)
“So establish prayer for My remembrance.” (20/14)
“He is successful who purifies himself, and remembers the name of his Lord, and so prays.” (87/14-15)
That is why Allah named prayer: “dhikr” when He said: “When the call is proclaimed on Jum`a, hasten earnestly to the dhikr of Allah” (62/9).
“The men and women who remember Allah abundantly” . The Prophet both praised and explained what is in the latter verse when he said, as it is related in muslim
….“The single-hearted are foremost.” When he was asked, “O Messenger of Allah, who are the single-hearted?” he replied, “The men and women who remember Allah abundantly.” (Muslim)
The mufarridun are the people who are really alive.
When I want to talk to allah I say prayers and when I want that he talk to me I recite quran- Hazrath Ali(ra)
