“Bismillahir Rahmannir Raheem”Al-Hamdu Lillaahi Rabbil ‘Aalameen was Salaatu was- Salaamu ‘Alaa Sayidinaa Muhammadin wa Aalihi wa Asabihi Ajma ‘een (tauheed- risalat- ahkirat and islam-iman-ihsan)

2/45- And seek (Allah’s) help through patience and Prayer. …(whose hearts have been softened with the Love of Allah and gripped with His Fear).

29/69 and verily Allah blesses the men of spiritual excellence with His companionship.

2/216.. It may be that you dislike a thing and (in fact) that is good for you. And it is (also) likely that you like a thing but (in fact) that is bad for you. And Allah knows well but you do not know.

10/12. And when a misery touches (such a) man, he calls out to Us whilst lying on his side or sitting or standing. But when We remove from him his affliction, he passes on (forgetting Us) as if he (never) called out to Us in the pain that had touched him. This is how the (wrong) deeds which the transgressors do are made to appear to them fascinating.

47/17  And as for those who have taken guidance, Allah increases their guidance and honours them with their station of Godwariness.

30/29. But those who have done injustice follow the desires of their (ill-commanding) selves without any knowledge (and guidance). So who can guide him whom Allah has held astray? And there are no helpers for them.

14/34 Indeed, man is highly unjust and extremely ungrateful

16/25 … and also (carry) some of the load of those that they are misguiding due to (their) ignorance.

33/34. And always remember the Revelations of Allah and the tradition and wisdom (of the Holy Prophet [blessings and peace be upon him]) which are recited in your homes.

33/34…Surely, Allah is the Master of subtleties (for His favourite servants — Awliya’) and Well Aware (of all His Creation).

33/72. Indeed, We offered the trust (of obedience) to the heavens and the earth and the mountains, but they declined to bear this (burden) and felt scared of it, but man took it on. Verily, he is given to wrongdoing (against his own soul), unwise and extremely ignorant (of the consequence of lapse in paying back the trust).

Abu Umama (ra) said,”When I die, do with me as the Prophet ordered us, saying, ‘When one of your brothers dies and you have smoothed over the earth upon his grave, let one of you stand at the head of the grave and say, “O So and so Son of So and so” for he will hear, though he cannot reply – and then say, “O So and So, son of So and so,” and he will say, “Direct me, Allah have mercy upon you mercy on you,” though you will not hear it, but should say, “Remember the creed (Kalima Tayyiba) upon which you departed from this world, testifying that there is no god but Allah , and Muhammad is His servant and messenger, and that you accepted Allah as your Lord, Islam as your religion, Muhammad as your prophet, and the Quran as your exemplar.” For then the two angels Munkar and Nakir will take each other’s hand and say, “Let us go, what is there to keep us beside someone who has been instructed how to make his plea?”A Man said, “O Messenger of Allah , what if one does not know the name of his mother?” and he answered, ‘Then one should mention his descent from his mother Eve (sa) , saying, “O so and so son of Eve (sa) ” (Muajam al Kabir Tabrani 7/287).

Ummul Momineen Aisha (ra) narrates that: “When Prophet used to stay with her, in the last part of the night he used to go to the graveyard of Madinah (Muslim, Mishkat page 154)

“Whoever visits his parents’ graves or visits one of their graves every Friday, then he will be forgiven and will be written as being one of the pious” (Mishkat page 154).

Hadhrat lbn Abbas (ra) narrated that Allah’s Messenger  passed by some graves of Madinah  He turned his face towards them, and said: Peace be on you, O people of the graves! May Allah forgive us and you. You have gone before us and we are to follow. (Tirmidhi, Chapter 59, Hadith # 1055).

Narrated Abu Sa’id Al-Khudri (ra) : Allah’s Apostle said, “When the funeral is ready (for its burial) and the people lift it on their shoulders, then if the deceased is a righteous person he says, ‘Take me ahead,’ and if he is not a righteous one, then he says, ‘Woe to it (me)! Where are you taking it (me)?’ And his voice is audible to everything except human beings; and if they heard it they would fall down unconscious.” (Sahih Bukhari, Volume 2, Book 23, Number 462).

Jannat is by the grace of Allah not with amaal/deeds (our efforts)

Duniya = is for worshiping and gaining marifat of Allah.
