Narrated ‘Aisha and Ibn ‘Abbas: On his death-bed Allah’s Prophet ﷺ put a sheet over his-face and when he felt hot, he would remove it from his face. When in that state (of putting and removing the sheet) he said, “May Allah’s Curse(lanat) be on the Jews and the Christians for they build places of worship at the graves of their prophets.” (By that) he intended to warn (the Muslim) from what they (i.e. Jews and Christians)had done. (Bukhari – Volume 4, Book 56, Number 660)

Narrated Abu Said: The Prophet ﷺ said, “You will follow the wrong ways, of your predecessors so completely and literally that if they should go into the hole of a mastigure, you too will go there.” We said, “O Allah’s Apostle! Do you mean the Jews and the Christians?” He replied, “Whom else?” (Meaning, of course, the Jews and the Christians.) (Bukhari – Volume 4, Book 56, Hadees Number 662)

Narrated ‘Aisha (RAA) Um Habiba (RAA) and Um Salama (RAA) mentioned about a church they had seen in Ethiopia in which there were pictures. They told the Prophet ﷺ about it, on which he said, “If any religious man dies amongst those people they would build Masjid(Place where Sajda )at his grave and make these pictures in it. They will be the worst creature in the sight of Allah on the Day of Resurrection.” (Bukhari Volume 1, Book 8, Hadith # 419)

Its referring to idols in the first place. No scholar will ever permit photos at grave sites.

Narrated Jabir ibn Abdullah (ra) Rasulullah (ﷺ) forbade that the graves should be plastered, or they be used as sitting places (for the people), or a building should be built over them. (Muslim Book 4, Hadith # 2116)

No one builds over them. We build around them.

Whereas Placing stones over graves are proved sunnah. others scholars have said plastering is restricted to general populace in public graveyards as plastering takes up space and prevents more burial in the same place.

But that does not apply to private grave and graves of awliya and ulema.

Beware of those who preceded you and used to take the graves of their prophets and righteous men as places of worship, but you must not take graves as mosques; I forbid you to do that. (Muslim Book 4, Number 1083)

Prophet
forbade the white washing of graves, the building of structures over them, writing on then, or raising them above ground level. ( Muslim Vol. 2 hadith no. 2116, Abu Dawud vol. 2, Hadith no. 3219 )

Prophet ﷺ said,’If I were to walk on hot coals or on a sword, or if I were to mend my shoes using my feet, that would be better for me than if I were to walk on the grave of a Muslim. And it makes no difference to me if I were to relieve myself in the midst of the graves or in the middle of the market-place [i.e., both are equally bad].’” (Narrated by Ibn Maajah, 1567)

Narrated ‘Urwa:Aisha said, “The Prophet ﷺ in his fatal illness said, ‘Allah cursed the Jews and the Christians because they took the graves of their Prophets as places for praying.”‘ Aisha added, “Had it not been for that the grave of the Prophet (p.b.u.h)would have been made prominent but I am afraid it might be taken (as a) place for praying. (Bukhari Volume 2, Book 23, Number 414)

Do not make your houses graves, and do not make my grave a place of festivity. But invoke blessings on me, for your blessings reach me wherever you may be. (Abu Dawud  Book 10  Hadith 2037)

Keep your houses filled with religious obligations(islamic house)  .

Festivity mean occasional/disobedience  . rather it means be regular/obedient.

Angels are oppointed for duty to convey darood o salaam(darood o salaam of people of love /muhabbah reaches directly to the prophet) .

Darood gives sawaab and salaam gives nisbat ie mohabbate rasool.

When I want to talk to allah I say prayers and when I want that he talk to me I recite quran- Hazrath Ali(ra)

Make sure you forward this to others .
