“Bismillahir Rahmannir Raheem”Al-Hamdu Lillaahi Rabbil ‘Aalameen was Salaatu was- Salaamu ‘Alaa Sayidinaa Muhammadin wa Aalihi wa Asabihi Ajma ‘een (tauheed- risalat- ahkirat and islam-iman-ihsan)

What to do during fitnah/confusion ?

BE WITH AHLE SUNNAT WAL JAMAAT/SUNNI’S (not restricted to 1 madrasa or 1 alim or 1 fiqh or 1 madhab or 1 organisation or 1 place or 1 book of ideology -its a jammah /congregation of largest muslims of the world)(4/115,4/144)

Largest ijmah of the world muslims follow (tauheed- risalat- ahkirat and islam-iman-ihsan)

1.Ibadate e ilahi ﷻ 2.Ghulamane mustafaﷺ   3.Mohabbate ahle bait(ra) 4.Azmat e sahaba(ra) 5.Sohbate auliya(ra)

‘Abdullah ibn Masood (Ra) reported that once Allah’s Messenger  drew a line in the dust with his hand and said, “This is the straight path of Allah.” Then he drew a series of lines to the right of it and to the left and said, “Each of these paths has a devil at its head inviting people to it.” He then recited ( 6/153) And that, this is My’ straight path, then follow it and follow not other paths for they will deviate you from His path. This He has ordered you that haply you may be self-restrained, “Verily this is my straight path so follow it and do not follow the (twisted) paths.” (Collected by Ahmad, Nisai and Darimi; see Mishkat ul-Masabih, 1/166)

“Allah Most High has described the example of the straight path like that road on both sides of which there are two walls, having many doors, all of which are open and curtains are hanging on each. At the end of this road is a caller who says: “People! Come all of you to this straight path; don’t remain dispersed.” In the midst of the path also there is a man. When any man wants to remove the curtains of these doors to see inside, the caller (at the middle of the road) says: ‘Ah! Pity! Do not look, do not open it. If you look at it and open it, you will be far removed from this path.’ Then, the straight path is Islam and both the walls are the divine limits. The open doors are things declared illegal by Allah. The caller at the end of the road is the Divine Book and the caller from above is a divine adviser who lives in every believer’s heart.” (tirmizi)

Hazrat Umar (radiyAllah anhu) said: – “0 Apostle of Allah! I had asked a Jewish friend of mine who belonged to the Banu Quraizah to write down for me the comprehensive things of the Torah. If you permit me I may present them to you.” The Holy Prophet’s  luminous face changed. Hazrat Abdullah bin Thabit said to Hazrat Umar: “Don’t you see what is the expression on the holy face”? Perceiving the situation, Hazrat Umar at once uttered: “I’m pleased at Allah’s being the Lord, at Islam’s being the religion and at Muhammad’s being the messenger. Then the Holy Prophet’s  anger subsided and he said: “I swear by Him in Whose charge is my life that should Moses come amongst you, and you start complying with him and give up following me, you will go astray. From amongst all those ummahs you are among the ummah that has been allotted to me and from amongst all the prophets I am the prophet who hath been assigned to you.” (musnad e ahmed)

Prophet  once said to his close Companion Abdullah ibn ‘Amr: ‘Have I heard tight that you fast everyday and stand in prayer all night?’ Abdullah replied, ‘Yes, 0 Messenger of God: The Prophet said, ‘Do not do that. Fast, as well as, eat and drink. Stand in prayer, as well as, sleep. This is because your body has a right upon you, your eyes have a right upon you, your wife has a right upon you, and your guest has a right upon you (Bukhari, Muslim).

whenever the Prophet had to choose between two options, he always chose the easier, unless it was explicitly forbidden (Bukhari).

When the Prophet sent his Companions Mu’adh and Abu Musa to teach Islam to the people of Yemen, he gave them the following advice: ‘Facilitate [religious matters to people] and do not make [things] difficult. Obey each other and do not differ [amongst yourselves].’ (Bukhari & Muslim).

‘Whoever among you leads the people in Salat, he should shorten it, for amongst them are the weak, the old, and the one who has business to attend to. And if anyone among you performs Salat alone, he may then prolong [Salat] as much as he wishes’ (Bukhari).

“Never be extreme regarding religion. Many nations have been destroyed before you only because of extremism in religion,” (Nisaai; Ibn Majah).

“Ruined are those who insist on hardship in matters of Deen.” He repeated this three times.(muslim)

Jaber Bin Samurah radhiallaahu`anhu said, “I used to observe prayer with the Prophet ﷺand his prayer was of a moderate length and his sermon too was moderate in length.”(muslim)

Imaam Bukhaari reported that the Messenger ﷺsaid, “Noah will be called on the Day of Resurrection and he will say, “Labbayk and Sa’dayk (I respond to Your call and I am obedient to Your orders) O my Lord! Allaah will say, Did you convey the Message?’ Noah will say, ‘Yes.’ His nation will then be asked, ‘Did he convey the Message to you?’ They will say, “No Warner came to us.’ Then Allaah Subhaanahu wa Ta`aala will say (to Noah), ‘ Who will bear witness in your favor?’ He will say, “Muhammad and his followers.’ So they (Muslims) will testify that he conveyed the Message-and the Messenger Muhammad ﷺwill be a witness over you, and that is what is meant by the following statement of Allaah Subhaanahu wa Ta`aala: “Thus We have made you [Muslims] a Wasat nation, that you be witnesses over mankind and the Messenger Muhammad be a witness over you.”
