THE WORD ALLAH

Ilah means god (anything that is worshipped –picture,stones,humans,imaginations etc)

This leaves with god/gods/goddess etc

There is no word in english for Allah

Al ilah means the only ilah/god

Arabic word Allah doesn’t has gender/plural .

Allah is referred with he/we/us/our out of respect because he is not like his creation/none other like him.

He/we/us/our is used for nobility/dignity/honour/respect(not plural)etc

Allah’s name itself is the perfect name for Allah.

If Allah had a son either it must be through biology or adoption or metaphor (mazallah)

God killed himself for mankind to protect from god (non sense-there is no logic in it)

Creator is not like creation.

Allah,creator of angels and souls .

Relationship between creation and Allah is slavery/abdiat-servitude.

Allah is subhan/clean(beyond our understanding).

1.if there were more than one God, they would dispute with one another, each god trying to fulfill his will against the will of the other gods.

2.If a ‘God’ is defeated or unable to defeat the others, he is surely not the one true God.

3.If there were more than one God it would surely lead to confusion, disorder, chaos and destruction in the universe. But the universe is in complete harmony.

4.If there were more than one God, they would have taken away what they created.

Thus the existence of one True, Unique, Supreme, Almighty God, is the only logical concept of God.

We believe in what ever is conveyed by quran [since He is other than whatever we imagine Him to be ]. It is obligatory for us to believe in it [whatever it might mean]

It is atheism (ilhaad) then to call Allah —-body/jism or atom/smallest particle (jawhar) or reason/aql etc etc

No anthropomorphism in islam (god taking human shape or form/mujassamat)

wajh/face mean Dominion.

Days of creation mean phases in creation .

We shall forget them means We shall abandon them to their punishment.

shin will be exposed means a day of war and direness (dire matter shall be disclosed) .

looking at their lord means Without modality, without direction, without establishing distance.

Laughter of Allah means it is mercy .

Coming of Allah means “His recompense (thawab/rahmat) shall come.”

Istawa means with the height of sovereignty(al mulk) and power(al qudra), not the height of displacement and movement to and fro.

When I want to talk to allah I say prayers and when I want that he talk to me I recite quran- Hazrath Ali(ra)
