“My entire Ummah was presented before me with each individual’s scroll of deeds, good as well as bad.”(Muslim Shareef, Volume 1, Page 207, Musnad-i-Ahmad, Ibn Majah)

“One night my Ummah was presented before me at my hujrah and I know each of them as clearly as any one knows his colleague.”(Ref : Anba al-Mustafa, Page 19, ref : Tibrani)

“I saw Prophet Moosa in the valley of Azraq, while passing from Makka to Madina. He was reciting ‘Talbiah’ in a loud voice. On another occasion I saw Prophet Yunus wearing a long woolen overcoat and riding a red camel.” (Ibn Majah, pp 20, 208)

“On the Day of Qiyamah, I will be the leader of the children of Hazrat Adam (alaihis salaam). I will be the first to rise from my grave. I will be the first to start interceding and my intercession will be the first to be accepted.” (Mishkaat ,Muslim)

‘The status of the deceased is raised [during their time in the grave], and the deceased ask Allah why this has happened. Allah replies,’Your son has prayed for your forgiveness'” (al-Bukhari,musnad e ahmed)

Reported S. Jaber (ra)-  We came out with the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) to Saa’d bin Muaz when he expired. When the Holy Prophet performed his funeral prayer, and he was buried in his grave and the earth was levelled upon him, the Holy Prophet read “Tasbeeh” and we also recited “Tasbeeh” for a long time. Then he recited “Takbeer”, so we too recited “Takbeer”. It was asked “;O the Messenger of Allah! Why have you recited “Tasbeeh” and “Takbeer” He said, “The grave became too narrow for this pious man till Allah made it spacious because of it (the recitation).” (Ahmed, Mishkaat)

Narrated Syedna Uthman ibn Affan (ra) Whenever the Holy Prophet (saws) became free from burying the dead, he used to stay at him (i.e. his grave) and say “Seek forgiveness for your brother, and beg steadfastness for him, for he will be questioned now”. (Abu Daud)

Ata’ ibn Abi Rabah (ra) said I heard Ibn `Umar (ra) say I heard the Holy Prophet(saws) say “When one of you dies do not tarry, but make haste and take him to his grave, and let someone read at his head the opening of Surah Baqarah, and at his feet its closure when he lies in the grave.” (Tabarani)

Imam Bukhari Completed his Book by sitting near the Blessed Grave of Prophet(saws)” (Fathul Bari)
