(These hypocrites) who stayed back (from fighting) due to opposing Allah’s Messenger are rejoicing over their sitting behind. They disliked it that they should strive in the cause of Allah with their wealth and their lives and said: ‘Do not move out in this heat.’ Say: ‘The Fire of Hell is far fiercer in heat.’ (How good it would be) if they could only understand!9/81
O Muslims! They (the hypocrites) swear by Allah in your presence to keep you pleased, whereas Allah along with His Messenger (blessings and peace be upon him) has a greater right that they should please Him. 9/62
( hypocrites) … ‘We only used to talk (away the journey) and enjoy.’ Say: ‘Were you mocking Allah, His Revelations and His Messenger (blessings and peace be upon him)?’ (Now) do not make excuses. You have certainly become disbelievers after (showing that) you believed. …9/64-66
O Muslims! They (the hypocrites) swear by Allah in your presence to keep you pleased, whereas Allah along with His Messenger (blessings and peace be upon him) has a greater right that they should please Him. If they are the believers, (they should have known this fact and should have pleased the Messenger [blessings and peace be upon him]. Allah is pleased only if the Messenger [blessings and peace be upon him] is pleased because their pleasure is but one and the same).9/62
O Muslims! They (the hypocrites) swear by Allah in your presence to keep you pleased, whereas Allah along with His Messenger (blessings and peace be upon him) has a greater right that they should please Him…..9/62
O (Glorious) Messenger! Fight against the disbelievers and the hypocrites, and treat them harshly (for violating peace, creating disorder and committing militancy and aggression)…..9/73
O (Esteemed) Prophet! Strive hard against the disbelievers and the hypocrites (who have initiated militancy, aggression, mischief and intrigues against you) and treat them strictly. …66/9
…. And never perform (funeral) Prayer over any of these (hypocrites) who dies, nor stand at his grave (because your stepping on some place also brings about mercy and blessings, and they do not deserve your mercy and blessing). Indeed, they disbelieved in Allah and His Messenger (blessings and peace be upon him) and died in a state of defiance.9/83-84
And amongst people there are (also) some who say: ‘We believe in Allah and the Last Day,’ whereas they are not (at all) believers. They seek to deceive Allah (i.e., the Messenger) and the believers, ….In their hearts is a disease. …2/8-10
(hypocrites )….erected a mosque to harm (the Muslims) and (promote) disbelief and disunite the believers…‘We have intended nothing but good (by constructing this mosque).’ And Allah bears witness that they are certainly liars. (O Beloved!) Never stand in this (building which has been built in the name of a mosque). 9/107
…. Their structure which they have raised (in the name of a mosque) will continue pricking their hearts (due to doubt and hypocrisy)… 9/110
Allah (mighty and sublime be He) said: If My servant likes to meet Me, I like to meet him; and if he dislikes to meet Me, I dislike to meet him. Prophetic explanation of this Sacred Hadith: He who likes to meet Allah, Allah likes to meet him; and he who dislikes to meet Allah, Allah dislikes to meet him. Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) said: O Prophet of Allah, is it because of the dislike of death, for all of us dislike death? The Prophet (pbuh) said: It is not so, but rather it is that when the believer is given news of Allah’s mercy, His approval and His Paradise, he likes to meet Allah and Allah likes to meet him; but when the unbeliever is given news of Allah’s punishment and His displeasure, he dislikes to meet Allah and Allah dislikes to meet him. (Bukhari)
Hazrat Abu Saeed (ra) reports that RasoolAllah ﷺhas said, “Allah says that if Qur’an prevents someone from making supplications to Me (that is if someone is reciting, learning or teaching Qu’ran and hence does not get the time for supplication), then I will provide him more than those people who ask from Me. And the esteem of Qur’an over other books is like the esteem of Allah over His creation.” (Tirmizi)
