“Bismillahir Rahmannir Raheem”Al-Hamdu Lillaahi Rabbil ‘Aalameen was Salaatu was- Salaamu ‘Alaa Sayidinaa Muhammadin wa Aalihi wa Asabihi Ajma ‘een (tauheed- risalat- ahkirat and islam-iman-ihsan)

When entering  home -Allaahumma innee as-aluka khair-alMawlije wa khair-alMakhrije- Bismillahe wa lajjenaa wa alallahe rabbenaa tawakkalnaa“O Allah! I seek goodness from you for entering into and exiting from the house; we enter with the name of Allah, and have relied only upon Allah the Supreme, our Lord.”

THE ETIQUETTE OF USE OF SOCKS AND SHOES

Wear shoes (sandals) that have two straps. never wear shoes (sandals) that have fur.

The shoe of the Prophet (peace be upon him) had two laces. wear black socks .

It is Sunnat for a man to put Off/On his shoes when he sits down, and place them by his side.

When one of you puts on sandals, he should first put in the right foot, and when he takes off he should take off the left one first, or he should put them on together or take them off together. 

Don’t walk in one sandal ,wear either both or take off the two.

THE ETIQUETTE OF HOUSE

Ensure our intentions/niyyat always remain purely for the sake of Allah.

Whoever lacks kindness, lacks all good things.

always keep everyones share of food/milk/fruits etc to give it to them.

always ask permission before entering any room.If you sought permission three times, and were not granted permission, then you must leave.

Always say your name when asked while opening the door.

While praying at night recite quran with pleasing voice(just audible to you) without disturbing others who are sleeping .

wake up others for salah during night worship.

Knock gently with the tips of the fingers, or just loud enough for the occupants to hear.

Do not stand infront of the door, but slightly to the right or left

When children come of age, (approx 7) teach them to seek permission.

Always announce your presence before arrival or at the door (clear throat, tap shoes, call) .

Do not be suspicious. Avoid arriving at night.

Entering while others are asleep-you should be quiet and gentle in moving, so as not to disturb anyone.

Removing Obstacles from the Road. Never drag  feet on the floor.

Begin every ‘good’ action from the right and enter every ‘good’ place with the right and always say bismillah.

Salutation /saying salam -whilst going to the Masjid, proceed calmly and do not be hasty.

Using Sewak while taking first steps into home.

When climbing upstairs say Allah ho akbar, when walking downhill say  SubhanAllah and when walking upon flat ground we should recite La Ilaaha Illah lah.

Dua when leaving the house is as follows:Bismillahi, tawakkaltu ‘alallalahi, wa laa hawla wa laa quwwata ‘illa billah

Say salaam to the occupants of the house and recite the following du’aa:Allaahumma innee as’aluka khayral maulaji wa khayral makhraji, Bismillaahi walajnaa wa Bismillaahi kharajnaa wa alallaahi rabbinaa tawakkalnaa

On entering a market / shopping center recite the following words:Laa ilaaha illallaahu wahdahu Laa shareeka lahu, lahul mulku wa lahul hamdu yuhyee wa yumeetu wa huwa hayyul Laa yamootu, biyadihil khayr wa huwa alaa kulli shay’in qadeer (4th kalma)

When stepping out of one’s home: -Bismillaahe tawakkaltu alallaahe wa laa hawla wa laa quwwata illaa billaah. “With Allah’s name (I go forth), I put my trust in Allah, and the power to resist evil and the strength to do good is only from Allah, the Supreme, the Greatest.”

keep the intention for shahadat/martyrdom you will be rewarded even if don’t get martyred in allah’s way  and Setting out for earning halaal money.

When I want to talk to allah I say prayers and when I want that he talk to me I recite quran- Hazrath Ali(ra)
