Fitna /Confusions
“Do men imagine that they will be left(at ease) because they say we believe, and will not be tested with affliction?” (29/2).
The wandering Arabs say: We believe. Say (unto them, 0 Muhammad):You believe not, but rather say “We submit”, for the faith has not yet entered into your hearts. (49/14)
“They swear by Allah that they said nothing (wrong), yet they did say the word of disbelieve and did disbelieve after their surrender (to Allah). (9/74)
“A man follows the religion of his friend; so each one should consider whom he makes his friend.” Abu Dawood
“None of you will have faith till he loves me more than his father, his children and all mankind.” Bukhari

“Allah will never allow my Ummah to unite upon misguidance and incorrect beliefs. Allah’s mercy, blessings and protection are with the largest group of Muslims. And he who deviates from this largest group of Muslims will be thrown into Hell.” (Tirmizi)
“He who deviates from the largest group of Muslims, even as much as a hand span, has himself cut off his connection with Islam”. (Abu Dawud)
“Without doubt, my Ummah will never be gathered in misguidance. Whenever you see disagreement, then hold fast to the greater majority.”[Ibne Majah]
….Every person is tried according to the strength of his religion, if his religion is strong, he is tested more, and if his religion is weak, his trial is lessened. A person continues to be tested and tried until he walks on the earth totally free of sin (for they would be effaced due to the trials).” (Tirmidhi #2398 & ibn Majaah #4023 )
