Narrated Abu Huraira (ra) : Allah’s Messenger said: A man never did good deeds. Rather, he used to lend money to people and advise his servants: Take from the solvent and leave the insolvent and forgive him. Perhaps Allah may forgive us. When he died, Allah ﷻ asked him: Did you ever do anything good? He replied: No, but I had a servant and I used to lend people money. Whenever I sent him out to recover the loans, I advised him: Accept from the solvent and leave the one who is unable to repay. May Allah forgive us, then Allah the Exalted remarked: I have forgiven you. (Nasa’i)
‘The status of the deceased is raised [during their time in the grave], and the deceased ask Allah why this has happened. Allah replies,’Your son has prayed for your forgiveness'” (al-Bukhari)

Sayyidina Abii Hurairah Radiyallahu ‘Anhu says, Sayyidina Rasulullah Sallallahu ‘Alayhi Wasallam said: “When a dead person is buried, two black angels with blue eyes come to him. One is called Munkar and the other Nakeer. They both ask him: ‘What did you use to say regarding this person (Muhammad Sallallahu ‘Alayhi Wasallam)?’. He will say: ‘He is the bondsman and messenger of Allah Ta‘aala. Ash-hadu an-la ilaaha illallaahu, wa ash-hadu anna Muhammadan ‘abduhu wa-rasuluh’. They both will say: ‘(After seeing signs) We knew that you are going to say this’. Then his grave is widened seventy dhiraa (cubits) by seventy dhiraa and then illuminated. The person then says: ‘Allow me to go to my family, so that I may inform them’. They say to him: ‘Sleep like a groom, who is awakened only by that person who is most beloved to him from his family, until Allah Ta‘aala will resurrect you from that sleep (on the day of qiyaamah)’” – Tirmithi, Baihaqi.
Allah will raise the rank of a righteous slave in Paradise and the slave will say: 0 Lord! From where has this come to me? Allah will say: Yes. This is because of your son who has been asking forgiveness for you. (Musnad of Ahmad).
“When a Mum’in sins, a black spot forms on his heart. If he makes isitighfaar and taubah, the black mark is removed and his heart is purified. If he increases his sin, the black mark increases. This is the corrosion of the heart spoken by Allah Ta’ala (in the Qur’an).” (Ahmad, Tirmidhi, Ibn Majah)
“The fornication of the eyes is to look with lust; the fornication of the tongue is to speak lustful things; the fornication of the hands is to touch with lust; the fornication of the feet is to walk towards lust; the fornication of the heart is to desire evil;…” (Muslim)
A Muslim is a Muslim’s brother; he does not wrong him or abandon him. If anyone cares for his brother’s need, God will care for his need; if anyone removes his brother’s anxiety, God will remove from him one of the anxieties of the Day of Resurrection; and if anyone conceals a Muslim’s secret, God will conceal his secret on the Day of Resurrection. (Bukhari, Muslim).
