PROOFS THAT VERIFY TAQLEED AS OBLIGATORY (WAAJIB)

1/6— Those on the Right Path are the Mufassirin (Commentators of Quran), Muhaddiseen (Scholars of the Ahadith), Jurists, Awliya Allah, Ghaus, Qutub, Abdal, etc. They were all Muqallids proving there by that Taqleed is the Right Path (nabin/ siddiqin/ shuhada/ saleheen).

(2/286)—the man who is incapable of Ijtihad, is unable to extract problems (masail) from the Qur’an as it amounts to over-burdening him if he is restrained from Taqleed and to expect him to derive problems from the Qur’an is not justifiable.

(9/100) Allah is pleased with those who followed the footstepe of the Muhajirs and the Ansar. This is nothing but Taqleed.

(4/59)– there is the command to obey Almighty Allah (Holy Quran) the Holy Prophet (Hadith), the person holding authority to command the Ulama versed in Fiqah (Jurisprudence) and Istimbat (Knowledge of deriving problem from the Quran and Hadith).

(16/43) —The men of learning explicitly refer to the Mujtahids.

(31/15) —The verse indicates that the following (Taqleed) should be done of those persons who have devoted themselves to Almighty Allah. Here there is no restriction on the nature of matters in which guidance is needed. (Follow the path of the person who turned towards Me).

25/74 –The Taqleed or following the men of Almighty Allah is on obligation.( make us the leaders of the virtuous)

9/122 —return to inspire the people in the hope that they be saved.

AHADITH REGARDING TAQLEED

The Holy Prophet (ﷺ) said: “Allah will never allow my Ummah to unite upon misguidance and incorrect beliefs. Allah’s mercy, blessings and protection are with the largest group of Muslims. And he who deviates from this largest group of Muslims will be thrown into Hell.” (Tirmizi)

Muslim Sharif states, “Hadrat Tameen Daari (ra) reports that the Holy Prophet (ﷺ ) has said, ‘The deen is well-wishing.” When we asked regarding who this is for, he replied, “For Allah (swt). His Book and Rasool (ﷺ ), for the Imams of the Muslims and for the general body of believers.”–Vol.I, Pg.54

The Holy Prophet (ﷺ ) has said, “While you are agreed upon obedience to one person, if someone who wishes to break your stick (i.e. unity) and group comes to you kill him.” Mishkaat. Kitaabul-Imaarah with ref to Muslim

‘The person who dies and does not have the allegiance (bai’at) of someone around his neck has experienced the death of ignorance.” -Miskhaat, Kitaabul-lmaarah, Section 1 Allegiance to both an Imam (i.e. Taqleed) and the Auliya are included in this. Otherwise, which Sultaan’s allegiance have these Misguided groups of India and other parts of the world sworn to?

2/13 – When it is said to them to bring Imaan like how these sincere Muslims bave brought Imaan, they say, “Must we bring Imaan like how those ignorant people have brought Imaan?

Whoever has lmaan like them(sahaba) is a Mu’min, and whoever’s Imaan is contrary to theirs is out of the deen, “If those people brought Imaan like yours, they would be on the path of salvation (hidaayat).” – 2/ 137

Tafseer Durre-Mansoor (4/115 verse) “Hadrat Anas (ra) narrates that he heard the Holy Prophet (ﷺ ) state.“Some People perform salaah, fast perform Hajj and even fight in Jihad though they are Hypocrites (Munaafiqs).” When it was asked, “Ya RasoolAllah (ﷺ ). Through what were they infiltrated with hypocrisy?” The Prophet (ﷺ ) explained, “Through rebuking their Imam.” When he was asked concerning who their Imam was. He replied, “Allah (swt) states, “Ask those who know if you do not.”

(under Surah Kahf)Tafseer Saawi states. ”Taqleed of anybody or anything besides the four muzhabs is not permissible even though it may seem to be in conformity to the verdict of the Sahaaba (ra) Sahih Hadith or a Quranic verse. Anybody who separates himself from these four muzhabs is astray and leads others astray as well, because to take only the visible meaning of the Quran and Hadith is the root of infide1ity.”

Without ljmaa, how can you substantiate the Caliphate of Hadrat Abu Bakr Siddique (ra) and Hadrat Umar Farooq-e-Aazam (ra)? Their respective positions are proven only from the consensus of the Ummah, to the extent that the person who rejects either one is a kaafir.

Tafseer-e-Khaazin narrates that Hadrat Abu Bakr Siddique (ra) said to the Ansaar (ra) “The Quran has classified the Migrators (Muhaajireen) to be truthful and has ordered that we be with the truthful. Therefore, you should not establish a separate caliphate. Remain with us.

“When you are three people traveling, make one your leader.” Mishkaat, Kitaabul-Jihaad, Boabul-Aadaobtsh-Safar.

When I want to talk to allah I say prayers and when I want that he talk to me I recite quran- Hazrath Ali(ra)
