“Bismillahir Rahmannir Raheem”Al-Hamdu Lillaahi Rabbil ‘Aalameen was Salaatu was- Salaamu ‘Alaa Sayidinaa Muhammadin wa Aalihi wa Asabihi Ajma ‘een (tauheed- risalat- ahkirat and islam-iman-ihsan)

What is Destiny (Taqdir)?

Within the Knowledge of Allah Ta’ala, He wrote what was going to happen in the world and whatever His servants were going to do. he wrote down what the servant was going to do.

all good things are done with the Pleasure of Allah Ta’ala and all bad deeds are done with the pleasure of one’s desires. To believe yourself as totally without will or totally helpless is a misguided belief. The Holy Prophet (ﷺ) has referred to those who do not believe in Taqdir to be like fire-worshippers of his Ummah. It is forbidden to discuss or debate the subject of destiny.

FREE WILL AND QADR

To make choice with regard to beliefs and deeds.

Honor bestowed upon mankind

It sets us apart from the angels

Its not absolute ,it has limits.

Ability to think and to reason.

Knowledge of revelation/quran  is out of Allah’s mercy .

Will of humans connected with will of Allah(destiny will happen).

Answerable  to the choices we make, not for which we had no control.

What Allah wills from us is a secret(We are not commanded to do ,which Allah has decreed).

What Allah wants from us,he has commanded to do(which Allah has enjoined upon us).

Qadr/destiny =coming from ALLAH (decreed)

Qadr/destiny =cannot justify the mistakes/sins of an individual(seek forgiveness from Allah).

Qadr/destiny =if it was an excuse ,the kuffar would have use it when they see the punishment, coming of prophets would be meningless.

Qadr/destiny=is not an excuse for sins.

Allah Ta’ala has given humans the power to do as they please and the reward and sin is based upon this power of will.

Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddique and Hazrat Umar-e-Farooq (radi allahutala anhuma) were prohibited from discussing Taqdir.

In Arabic, qadar means decree, judgement, ultimate destiny (prior knowledge). Taqdeer means to think about how to sort things out.

The truth is that the existence of this universe and every creature in it clearly indicates that Allah had knowledge of it before He created it. “For it is impossible that He could create these things without knowing about them, because He creates things by His Will, and will requires a preconceived idea about the desired thing. This preconceived idea about the desired thing is knowledge of the desired thing. So creation requires will and will requires knowledge, so creation requires knowledge.” (Sharh at-Tahaawiyah)

Moreover, “The created beings which exist in it are made in a proper and perfect manner which implies that the One Who made them must have knowledge of the, because such perfect work could not have been done by one who has no knowledge” (Sharh at-Tahaawiyah)

“Eemaan (faith) is to believe in (i) Allah (subhanu waatala ), (ii) His angels, (iii) His revealed Books, (iv) His Messengers, (v) the Day of Resurrection and (vi) Al-Qadr, both the good and bad of it.”[ Muslim]
everyone is born on islamic fitrah .able to pray to allah alone if left without any influence from his surrounding environment .child’s parents make him hindu, christian or jew etc etc.

Some people committed blasphemy through actions, denial and disbelief in the truth by Allah abandoning them. Those who believe did so through actions, testification, and affirmation, by Allah guiding and supporting them. [ Sharh Aqida Tahawi, Shaykh Ninowi]

He is The One who willed and decreed for all things to happen. [ Al Fiqh Al Akbar]

The Ruling (Qada), Decree (Qadar) and Will are eternal attributes without “how”[modality]. [ Al Fiqh Al Akbar].

Al-Qadr: The Decree[ Sharh Aqida Tahawi , Shaykh Ninowi]
The covenant `which Allah made with Adam and his offspring’ is true.Allah knew, before the existence of time, the exact number of those who would enter the Garden (Al-Jannah) and the exact number of those who would enter the Fire (Jahannam).

`He is not asked about what He does but they are asked’. [21/23] So anyone who asks: `Why did Allah do that?’ has gone against a judgement of the Book, and anyone who goes against a judgement of the Book is an unbeliever.

For there are two kinds of knowledge: knowledge which is accessible to created beings, and knowledge which is not accessible to created beings. Denying the knowledge which is accessible is disbelief, and claiming the knowledge which is inaccessible is disbelief.

Belief can only be firm when accessible knowledge is accepted and inaccessible knowledge is not sought after.

When I want to talk to allah I say prayers and when I want that he talk to me I recite quran- Hazrath Ali(ra)

Make sure you forward this to others .
