“Bismillahir Rahmannir Raheem”Al-Hamdu Lillaahi Rabbil ‘Aalameen was Salaatu was- Salaamu ‘Alaa Sayidinaa Muhammadin wa Aalihi wa Asabihi Ajma ‘een (tauheed- risalat- ahkirat and islam-iman-ihsan)
…Ibrahim (Abraham) said: ‘My Lord, show me how You bring the dead to life.’ Allah said: ‘Do you not have faith?’ He submitted: ‘Why not! (I do believe,) but (I wish) my heart is blessed with gratifying calm.’ Allah ordained: ‘Well, take four birds and tame them to feel attached to you; then (slaughter them and) place a piece of each of them on each hill; then call them. They will come to you at high speed. And know that surely Allah is All-Mighty, All-Wise.’2/260
And he will be a Messenger to the Children of Israel, (saying to them:) ‘I have undoubtedly brought to you a sign from your Lord: I design for you from clay (a figure) like the shape of a bird; then I breathe into it; and at once it becomes a flying bird by Allah’s command. And I restore health to the born blind, and the lepers, and raise the dead to life by the command of Allah. And I inform you of (all) what you have eaten, and what you have hoarded in your houses. Truly, there is a sign in it for you if you believe.3/49
When Allah will say: ‘O ‘Isa, the son of Maryam (Jesus, the son of Mary), call to mind My favour to you and your mother when I provided you strength through the Holy Spirit (Gabriel); you conversed with the people (in a uniform style both) from the cradle (during early childhood) and in the ripe age (whilst preaching as a Messenger); and when I taught you the Book and wisdom (and insight) and the Torah and the Injil (the Gospel); and when by My command you made out of clay some (figure) looking like a bird, then you would breathe into it and by My command it would become a bird; and when you healed the blind and the leper (i.e., victims of leprosy) by My command; and when you raised up the dead (standing, bringing them back to life from the grave) by My command; and when I held back the Children of Israel from (killing) you whilst you brought them clear signs, those who disbelieved amongst them said: ‘This is nothing but sheer magic.’5/110
In fact, they have become disbelievers who say: ‘Allah is the Messiah, the son of Maryam (Mary),’ whereas the Messiah (himself) said: ‘O Children of Israel! Worship Allah, Who is my (as well as) your Lord.’ Indeed, Allah has forbidden Paradise to him who associates partners with Him. And Hell is his abode and the wrongdoers will not find any helpers.5/72
Later, when ‘Isa (Jesus) sensed their disbelief, he said: ‘Who are my helpers in the way of Allah?’ His sincere companions submitted: ‘We are the helpers of (the Din [Religion] of) Allah. We have believed in Allah and bear witness that we are surely Muslims.3/52
..And they themselves invented the innovation of monasticism. We did not prescribe it for them. 57/27

‘Uqba bin ‘Amir: One day the Prophet went out and offered the funeral
prayers of the martyrs of Uhud and then went up the pulpit and said,
“I will pave the way for you as your predecessor and will be a witness on
you. By Allah! I see my Fount (Kauthar) just now and I have been given the
keys of all the treasures of the earth (or the keys of the earth) “BY
ALLAH! I AM NOT AFRAID THAT YOU WILL WORSHIP OTHERS ALONG WITH ALLAH AFTER MY
DEATH” but I am afraid that you will fight with one another for the worldly
thing. (Sahih Bukhari)
“Amr ibn Shu’aib (may Allah be pleased with him) said that ‘Rasulu’llah(may Allah bless him and grant him peace) taught my father and grandfather a du’a which we would read before going to sleep, to protect us from fear and anguish. We told our elder children to recite this du’a before going to sleep as well. But for those children who were not yet literate, we would write it and then put it around their necks”[Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal , Abu Dawud)
Abdullah ibn Umar said that the Khawarij (enemies of Sayyidina Ali) were the worst of people because they used Qur’anic Ayats referring to the kuffar, and made it to refer to believers.( Bukhari)
Sayyidina Abii Hurairah Radiyallahu ‘Anhu says, Sayyidina Rasulullah Sallallahu ‘Alayhi Wasallam said: “I swear an oath in the Name of that Being in whose hands my life is, when a mayyit (deceased) is put in his grave, he hears the footsteps of the people when they leave him. If he is a Mu-min, his salah comes and stand at his head side; his zakaah at his right; his saum (roza, fast) at his left; his good deeds, piety, and ihsaan to the people at his feet. If ‘adhaab (punishment) comes to him from his head side, his salaah will say there is no entrance from my side. Then, it comes from the right side, his zakaah will say there is no entrance from my side. It then comes from the left side; his saum will say there is no entrance from my side. Then, it will come from the side of the feet, his good deeds, piety, ihsaan to the people, will say there is no entrance from our side. At the end of this hadith it is stated then his body is returned to its original state of dust (This is the case with the majority, some bodies remain in the same state in the grave). His ruh (soul) remains (lying) in a gentle breeze, or in the ‘arwaah tayyibah’, i.e. in the form of a green bird in the trees of Jannah. – Ibn Abii Shaybah, Tabrani in the ‘Awsat’, Ibn Hibbaan in his ‘Sahiih, Haakim, Bayhaqii.
Imam al Ata (rah) the Tabi’i and Faqih of Makkah said: There is no harm in hanging (ayahs of) Quran (around the neck) (Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah)
Abu Hurayra(ra) also reported that the Prophet, peace be upon him, said, “Renew your faith.” “How can we renew our faith?” they asked. The Prophet replied: “Say always: la ilaha illallah.” (Ahmad)
