None has the right to be worshipped except He. Everything has to perish but He. His is the command and to Him you (all) will be returned.28/88
… And Allah granted (Dawud) sovereignty and wisdom, and taught him what He wished. ..2/251
We have indeed sent down clear and enlightening Revelations (through which) Allah guides whom He wills to the straight path.24/46
And I created the jinn and human beings solely to adopt My servitude.51/56
Surely, those who offend Allah and His Prophet, Allah curses them in the world and in the Hereafter and He has prepared for them a disgraceful torment.33/57
Assuredly, Satan is your enemy, so keep treating him as an enemy (being his adversary). He only calls his party to make them join the denizens of Hell.35/6
And, (O people,) the life of this world is nothing but sport and pastime and the Home of the Hereafter is the only (true) life. Would that they knew (this secret)!29/64
And, (O people,) the life of this world is nothing but sport and pastime and the Home of the Hereafter is the only (true) life. Would that they knew (this secret)! And that you keep worshipping Me alone? That is the straight path.36/60-61
Surely, Allah is the One Who is your Lord and my Lord (as well). So worship Him alone. That is the only straight path.’43/64
And your Lord has said: ‘Always pray to Me; I shall certainly grant your prayer. Surely, those who turn away from My worship in defiance will soon enter Hell disgraced.’40/60
No doubt Qarun (Korah) was of the people of Musa (Moses) but he oppressed them. And We gave him so much of treasures that it was hard for a powerful party of strong men to (carry) his keys whilst his people said to him: ‘Do not be arrogant and conceited (out of rejoicing). 28/76
Verily, Allah does not like those who gloat.28/76
He(Qarun) said: ‘(Why should I spend this capital for the good of people and society?) This wealth has been given to me only on the basis of (the professional) knowledge and skill I possess.’ Did he not know that Allah had indeed destroyed before him many communities who were far stronger than him in might and far ahead in accumulating (wealth and manpower)? And the culprits will not be questioned (for fact-finding or any excuse or reason) about their sins (at the time of destruction).28/78
What has happened to you (Muslims) that you do not fight in the cause of Allah (for the freedom of the oppressed), whereas those helpless (oppressed and tyrannized) men, women and children who (depressed by the plunder and carnage) call out (for their freedom): ‘O our Lord! Rescue us from this town whose (affluent and influential) people are oppressors, and appoint for us some guardian from Your presence, and make someone our helper from Your presence’?4/75
Say: ‘The Most Kind (Lord also) grants respite in age and luxury to the one who is lost in error until, when they see what they have been promised…19/75
‘O our Lord! Rescue us from this town whose (affluent and influential) people are oppressors, and appoint for us some guardian from Your presence, and make someone our helper from Your presence’?4/75
Have you thought of it (how) wondrous a sign of the signs (of Our might) were the People of the Kahf and the Raqim (i.e., the People of Cave and the Cave Tablet or the Raqim valley)? (Call to mind the time) when a few youths took refuge in the cave. They said: ‘O our Lord, bestow upon us mercy from Your presence and provide (means of) guidance in our affair.’18/9-10
They gained a paltry price (in terms of worldly interests) for the Revelations of Allah and then started hindering (people) from His path (of the Din [Religion]). Indeed, it is extremely evil what they keep doing.9/9
The Holy Prophet (pbuh) said, “Allah shall send for this Ummah at the head of every hundred years a person who shall revive/renovate their religion for them” (Abu Dawood)
“Whoever hides knowledge, Allah will brand him with the branding iron from the hellfire.” (Ahmad)
“He who called (people) to righteousness, there would be reward (assured) for him like the rewards of those who adhered to it, without their rewards being diminished in any respect. And he who called (people) to error, he shall have to carry (the burden) of its sin, like those who committed it, without their sins being diminished in any respect.” (Muslim)
