Iman Q & H, Shariath

“Bismillahir Rahmannir Raheem”Al-Hamdu Lillaahi Rabbil ‘Aalameen was Salaatu was- Salaamu ‘Alaa Sayidinaa Muhammadin wa Aalihi wa Asabihi Ajma ‘een (tauheed- risalat- ahkirat and islam-iman-ihsan)

33/56. Surely, Allah and (all) His angels send blessings and greetings on the Holy Prophet (blessings and peace be upon him). O believers! Invoke blessings on him and salute him with a worthy salutation of peace abundantly (and fervently).

33/57… Surely, those who offend Allah and His Prophet, Allah curses them in the world and in the Hereafter and He has prepared for them a disgraceful torment.

33/59. O Prophet! Say to your wives, your daughters and the women of believers that, (whilst going out,) they should draw their veils as coverings over them. It is more likely that this way they may be recognized (as pious, free women), and may not be hurt (considered by mistake as roving slave girls).

49/7. And remember that the Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace be upon him) is amongst you.

49/15- The true believers are only those who have believed in Allah and His Messenger (blessings and peace be upon him) and then never have any doubt, and who fight in the way of Allah with their material as well as human resources.

65/11.(messenger) … he may take those who have believed and do pious deeds from darkness to light.

And We appointed the Qibla (the direction of Prayer), which you used to face before, only to bring to light (by trial) who would follow (Our) Messenger and who would turn back upon his heels. And this (change of Qibla) was indeed a hard task, but not for those whom Allah blessed with guidance (and gnosis of spiritual truths). And it is not Allah’s Glory to void your faith (without any reason). …..2/143

…and he who leaves his home, migrating towards Allah and His Messenger (blessings and peace be upon him), and then death overtakes him (on the way), his reward with Allah is ensured …4/100

And, in the same way, (O Muslims,) We made you the best Umma (Community—fair to all with a tolerant, moderate and balanced outlook) so that you may bear witness to the people, and (Our exalted) Messenger (blessings and peace be upon him) bears witness to you. 2/143

O (Esteemed) Prophet! Why do you forbid yourself (taking honey) which Allah has made lawful for you? (How well) you seek to please your wives! And Allah is Most Forgiving, Ever-Merciful.66/1

Allah only intends to remove all the impurity of sins from you, O People of the House (of the Prophet, [even a doubt or trace of shortcoming]) and make you absolutely pure and clean by blessing you with (perfect) purity and wholesomeness.33/33

(O soldiers of the Army of Islam!) It is not you who killed the disbelievers (who initiated war against you) but it is Allah Who killed them, and, (O Glorious Beloved,) when you smote (them with pebbles), it was not you who smote them, but Allah smote, (so) that He confers upon the believers great favours from Him. …18/17

Another incident is related in Saheeh al-Bukharee; a Jinni came to Abu Hurayrah (radhiallahu anhu) several times, when he was in charge of the alms in Ramadan. Abu Hurayrah (radhiallahu anhu) narrates: “Allah’s Messenger (sallallahu alaihe wa-sallam) ordered me to keep Sadaqah (al-Fitr) of Ramadan. A man came and started taking handfuls of the foodstuff (of the Sadaqah, stealthily). I took hold of him and said: “By Allah, I will take you to Allah’s Messenger (sallallahu alaihe wa-sallam).” He said: “I am needy and have many dependents, and I am in great need.” I released him, and in the morning Allah’s Messenger (sallallahu alaihe wa-sallam) asked me: “What did your prisoner do yesterday?” I said: “O Allah’s Messenger (sallallahu alaihe wa-sallam)! The person complained of being needy and of having many dependents, so, I pitied him and let him go.” Allah’s Messenger (sallallahu alaihe wa-sallam) said: “Indeed, he told you a lie and he will come again.” Then the visitor came again and the same episode repeated twice, after which Allah’s Messenger asked: “O Abu Hurayrah! Do you know whom you were talking to, these three nights?” Abu Hurayrah said: “No!” He (sallallahu alaihe wa-sallam) said: “It was Shaytaan.” [Saheeh al-Bukharee 3/ 505]

” the most and greatest of the sin is to commit shirk with Allah”. (Bukhari, Muslim)

“Whoever possesses the following three qualities will have the sweetness (delight) of faith: 1.The one to whom Allah and his Apostle becomes dearer than anything else. 2.Who loves a person and he loves him only for Allah’s sake. 3.Who hates to revert to Atheism (disbelief) as he hates to be thrown into the fire. (Sahih Al-Bukhari Vol 1).

What is Faith? When your good deed pleases you and your evil deed grieves you, you are a believer. What is Sin? When a thing disturbs (the peace of) your heart, give it up. (Ahmad).

Abu Hurayra also reported that the Prophet, peace be upon him, said, “Renew your faith.” “How can we renew our faith?” they asked. The Prophet replied: “Say always: la ilaha illallah.” (Narrated by Ahmad with a fair chain of authorities)

None of you believes till I am dearer to him than his father, his child and all mankind. (Bukhari, Muslim).

(Bukhari Book 2, Hadith 23) narrated by ‘Abdullah (bin ‘Umar) – Once Allah’s Apostle (PEACE BE UPON HIM) passed by an Ansari who was admonishing to his brother regarding Haya’. On that Allah’s Apostle (PEACE BE UPON HIM) said, “Leave him as Haya’ is a part of Iman (faith).”
