Dras E Imam, Shariath

“Bismillahir Rahmannir Raheem””Al-Hamdu Lillaahi Rabbil ‘Aalameen was Salaatu was- Salaamu ‘Alaa Sayidinaa Muhammadin wa Aalihi wa Asabihi Ajma ‘een (tauheed- risalat- ahkirat and islam-iman-ihsan)

Hafiz Ibn Kathir: Ibn Jarir recorded that Sa`id bin Jubayr said, “An Ansari man came to the Messenger of Allah while feeling sad. The Prophet said to him, `Why do I see you sad’ He said, `O Allah’s Prophet! I was contemplating about something.’ The Prophet said, `What is it’ The Ansari said, `We come to you day and night, looking at your face and sitting by you. Tomorrow, you will be raised with the Prophets, and we will not be able to see you.’ The Prophet did not say anything, but later Jibril came down to him with this Ayah, (And whoever obeys Allah and the Messenger then they will be in the company of those on whom Allah has bestowed His grace, of the Prophets), and the Prophet sent the good news to the Ansari man.” This Hadith was narrated in Mursal form from Masruq, `Ikrimah, `Amir Ash-Sha`bi, Qatadah and Ar-Rabi` bin Anas. This is the version with the best chain of narrators.

Abu Bakr bin Marduwyah recorded it with a different chain from `A’ishah, who said; “A man came to the Prophet and said to him, `O Messenger of Allah! You are more beloved to me than myself, my family and children. Sometimes, when I am at home, I remember you, and I cannot wait until I come and look at you. When I contemplate about my death and your death, I know that you will be with the Prophets when you enter Paradise. I fear that I might not see you when I enter Paradise.’ The Prophet did not answer him until the Ayah, (And whoever obeys Allah and the Messenger, then they will be in the company of those on whom Allah has bestowed His grace, of the Prophets, the true believers, the martyrs, and the righteous. And how excellent these companions are!) was revealed to him.” This was collected by Al-Hafiz Abu `Abdullah Al-Maqdisi in his book, Sifat Al-Jannah, he then commented, “I do not see problems with this chain.” And Allah knows best.

Narated By Anas : The Prophet said “None of you will have faith till he loves me more than his father, his children and all mankind.” Bukhari Volume 001, Book 002, Hadith Number 014.
Narated By Anas : The Prophet
said, “Whoever possesses the following three qualities will have the sweetness (delight) of faith:
1. The one to whom Allah and His Apostle becomes dearer than anything else.
2. Who loves a person and he loves him only for Allah’s sake.
3. Who hates to revert to Atheism (disbelief) as he hates to be thrown into the fire.”

The Prophetic Sunnah is in fact an explanation and description of Allah’s Book.

In the holy Quran there are commandments regarding ablution (wuzu), bathing (ghusl), prayer (salat), fasting (saum), surplus- wealth tax (zakat), pilgrimage to Mecca (hajj), recitation of blessings for the Prophet (Durud), invocation (dua), remembrance of Allah (zikr), and similarly, marriage (nikah), divorce, sale and purchase, morals and social life, national politics and settlement of quarrels and litigation. In short, all the religious commandments are present in it in absolute form, stated in a concise manner. But the explanation of these commandments and the details of their minutiae have been given by the Holy Prophet (saws). Hence to follow and obey him is to follow and obey Allah

Shah Abd al-Aziz Of Delhi (Rahmatullahi alaihi) expounds the meaning beautifully in his Qur’aanic commentary called Tafsir Azizia. Allah says, “I swear by your beautiful face which glows like the morning light My beloved and I swear by your Beautiful locks of hair which, when it covers your radiant face is as if night has fallen that I have not forsaken you”.Allah swears by His beloved’s city, face, hair, lineage and birth to expound the fact that loving RasulAllah and everything attached to him is Allah’s practice or Sunnat.

The invocation of Blessings on the Holy Prophet is styled in Arabic as “Salawat”, in Persian as “Durood”, and in Urdu as “Salawat-o-Salaam”. The more Durood Shareef we recite, the greater the gain and benefit will be achieved in both the worlds.

indeed your names are presented to me along with your identity therefore recite salat upon me with eloquent words .musannaf abdur razzaq pg 214 vol2 no 3111

Hazrat Shaikh-e-Akbar Mo’inuddin ibn Arabi (radi Allahutala anhu) has stated that, “Those who claim to love and revere the Holy Prophet should increase their recital of the Durood Shareef in patience and perseverance until, through the mercy of Rasoolullah , they have the opportunity of witnessing his blessed countenance”.The special and exclusive aspect of this prayer is that Durood Shareef is immediately accepted by Allah Ta’ala. No one can doubt its acceptance, as Durood Shareef is being recited by Allah Ta’ala too. Not only this, but He has revealed this secret in the Holy Quran by saying:Wara fa’na laka zikrah “Have I not exalted thy name.”

The soul is the soil where the faith of Allah is to be implanted firmly and faithfully which requires continuous recitation of Durood Shareef to thrive and flourish.

Khair/goodness –must be directed towards Allah

Shar/bad –must be directed towards self

When I want to talk to allah I say prayers and when I want that he talk to me I recite quran- Hazrath Ali(ra)
