Iman-Nafs Types Islah

“Bismillahir Rahmannir Raheem”Al-Hamdu Lillaahi Rabbil ‘Aalameen was Salaatu was- Salaamu ‘Alaa Sayidinaa Muhammadin wa Aalihi wa Asabihi Ajma ‘een (tauheed- risalat- ahkirat and islam-iman-ihsan)

NAFS E AMMARA(TEMPERAMENT OF SELF)

Character/ahklaq is the reflection of nafs.

Nafs is baatin and its siffats/attributes are hasad,bukul,hirs, adawat,gaflat,ghibat,anger ,jealousy,sexual orientation ,short tempered etc etc etc .

Nafs is zaahir when exposed to environment.

Nafs is zulmati/oppressor and darkness

Dreams  are symbolic/metamorphical language

Dreams related with nafs e ammara =pig,dog,snake,elephant,donkey,mouse,birds ,toilet,wine ,badwater,drugs(symbols of ammara)

From alaam e nasoot

NAFS E LAWAMA(SELF CURSING,SELF BLAMING SOUL)

This nafs tries to prevent individual from commiting sins

Individual feel little bad with in himself (remoarse/nadamat)

Nafs revoult against bad.

Self blaming for doing wrong.

Ilham/intimation opens eye of wisdom

Allah takes oath of this type of nafs.

Siffat/attributes =helping others ,avoiding sins, takabur, self interest,

Prone to sins and good deeds commits which ever comes easy.

From alaam e misaal .

Dreams related with nafs e lawawa =cow/sheep/camel/fish/duck/horse/tree/dates/fruits /lamp with no light,high buildings ,palaces

NAFS E MULHIMA (INSPIRED SOUL)

Guiding nafs for doing good deeds –taqwa,touba,iqlas,shukr sabr,raza,charity,knowledge ,simplicity ETC ETC

1. Aslamna= accepting islam

2. amanna=entering of iman.

Love for awliya Allah = selective(Allah implants in selected hearts) 

Allah’s love =very very selective (Allah loves slave and then slave starts loving him)

Loving creation must be for Allah’s sake.

Be in duniya but no duniya inside your heart.

Loving Allah means following sunnah of rasoolAllahﷺ

Fearing Allah means avoiding sins /disobedience.

NAFS E MUTMAINAH(SATISFIED/RAZI SOUL)

Ruh has occupied heart –heart is like ruh now

Wilayat sugra/kubra starts

Next stages are haal/state and stations/maqam’s of this nafs

Heart is filled with zikrullah and sukoon

Siffats/attributes –forgiveness/affu ,increase tawakkal ,shukr ,charity,ibadat etc

Dreams related with nafs e mutmainah =Dreams are realistic no symbolic –quran,ambiya ,kaaba,madina,shrines of awliya, repeation of dreams,king aleem mashaikh,masjid Islamic books ,shairullah (sign of Allah),gun,bow and arrow weapons –seen as sacrifice for deen .

NAFS E RADIYA(PLEASED WITH ALLAH)

Good ahklaq and pleased with Allah

Increase zikr and fikr ,zuhd ,no complaints ,no duniya in heart,good at huqooq ul lah and huqooq ul ibad,karamat

Dreams related with nafs e radiya=angels,horse,jannah,ornaments,moon and stars

NAFS E MARDIYA (ALLAH IS PLEASED WITH HIM)

He is like a baby/soft hearted with good ahklaq

No self existence ,exist with Allah

Sidq o iqlas (no riya/shirk or munafiqat)

Small amal but increase reward (based on sidq o iqlas)

Slave is pleased with Allah and Allah is pleased with servant.

Allah  becomes his ear,eye,tongue,hand,legs heart etc etc

No desires, loves only Allah’s qurb/nearness

Dreams related with nafs e mardiya=sun ,angelic world

NAFS E SAFIYA/KAMILA(PERFECTION)

Perfect slave/abd -protection from sins

Siffats/attributes of Allah colouring the soul –truthful ,helper,

Jannat of high level

Increase qulwat/solitude /no jalwat (no interest in worldly things)

Loves Islamic books,zikr,sermons etc etc

Dreams related with nafs e safiya/kamila =rain,water falls,ocean etc repeatedly.

Features of angelic world .

Heart of a momin is the place of occupancy of Allah.no intellect, no senses can gain this level except that it’s a favour from Allah.

When I want to talk to allah I say prayers and when I want that he talk to me I recite quran- Hazrath Ali(ra)
