ZAATI NAME AND SIFFATI NAMES

1.ZAATI NAME

Based on zaat/essence. Always kull/complete covers all the siffats.

Allah  = ism e zaat used in uluviat, rubbibiat and asma wa siffat.all the names emerge /derived from the word Allah.Greatness of tauheed is achieved with the word Allah. Alif, laam and hey used for the word Allah .

ilaah= fulfiller of needs (uluviat) and rub=sustainer of the worlds(rubibiat)

Allah=not derived nor can be derived

Name Allah was never given to false gods in the total history of universe.so there is no sharik/partner in the name of Allah.

Alif lam added with ilah=Allah

Al is added for special/uniqueness

Al ilaah=highest (nothing can touch the greatness of this zaat)

Allah =zaat e elahi

Ilal laah= for the sake of Allah

Ilaah= mabud/worshiping Allah alone

Ilah =zaat which is hidden and siffats are apparent/zahir.

Ilah=awal/first and ahkir/last at sametime .

Ilah=buland /height

Lahu=only for Allah

Hu =only him (creation is nothing but his reflection/command/tawajjua

2.SIFFATI NAMES

Based on attributes. siffati names are with zaati name only that particular attributes . significance of single name/attribute. does not convey totality

Siffats are all around . siffats has shaan e uluviyat (fulfiller of needs)

Qurbiat /nearness of Allah =is by abdiat adorned with siffats of Allah.

Allah gives kamal/perfection with his reflection /tawajjua to creations .

highest of highest among creation is rasoolallahﷺ .

abdiat is the highest station of a human.

JAMAAL OR JALAL

1.There are names which imply beautiful attribute – Asmaa ul Jamaal (Rahman, Raheem, Wadud, Lateef, etc) which make a person love Allah more. 2.Asmaa ul Jalal – Names which are might which imply might attributes (Aziz, Qawy, Adheem, Qadeer, Qahhar, Jabbar,etc) It brings fear and magnification.

TRANSITIVE ATTRIBUTES OR INTRANSITIVE ATTRIBUTES

1.Names indicate transitive attributes – Actions of Allah to the creation like As Samee. Al Khaaliq Ar-Razzaq 2.Names which imply intransitive attributes Like  As-Samad, Al Aziz, Al Qawwi, As-Salaam, AlAwwal, Al Aakhir, Al hayy.

JALAL OR JAMAL OR KAMAL

1.Jalal-Majesty 2.Jamal-beautiful 3.Kamal-perfection.

The attributes of Allah that fall under the name of Jalal are known to us through His infinite and divine Majesty which are apparent through His creation throughout the universe.

The attributes of Jamal, on the other hand, become evident with their plentiful blessings, which we respond to with gratitude.

The Kamal names reveal works of art that have been created with perfection and wisdom and invite people to contemplate on this.

The names that are mainly Jalal and Jamal are also symmetry in the names: He‘s both, merciful and wrathful, beautiful and majestic, forgiving and just, and so on.

The response to divine jalal is fear, and the response to jamal is hope.

In a well known tradition it says ―Iman lies between khawf and Raja – that faith is situated between fear and hope. This implies that a correct relationship with Allah, is to understand all His names in a manner appropriate to each.

When I want to talk to allah I say prayers and when I want that he talk to me I recite quran- Hazrath Ali(ra)
