Musa(as) LIFE
Greatness of the prophets (musa(as) and harun(as))
37/122…Peace be upon Musa (Moses) and Harun (Aaron)! That is how We pay back those who are committed to spiritual excellence. Surely, both of them were of Our servants blessed with (perfect faith).
37/117….. And We gave both of them the clear and enlightening Book (the Torah).
37/118….And We preserved their virtuous remembrance (also) amongst the succeeding generations.
61/5 ….Musa (Moses) said to his people: ‘O my people, why do you offend me whilst you know that I am (a Messenger) sent to you by Allah?’
20/23………..Musa (Moses)! Then you came (here) at the time fixed (by Allah. He was then exactly forty years old). And (now) I have chosen you for Myself (for the task of Messengership and the exceptional favour).
19/53. …And We called him out from the right of (Mount) Tur….And out of Our mercy We granted him his brother Harun (Aaron), making him a Prophet (to assist him in his task).
4/164- ….and Allah (also) spoke to Musa (Moses) directly.
Childhood
28/3….Certainly, Pharaoh had become an arrogant rebel …..he had divided the citizens of his (state) into (various) sects (and groups)…….oppressed and weakened one of these groups (…Children of Israel)….. He used to kill their sons .. … let their women live (to spread immorality and indecency).…who rouse disruption.
28/8….And We revealed to the heart of the mother of Musa (Moses): ‘Suckle him on, but when you fear (for his life), put him afloat into the river…….We shall bring him back to you, and shall make him one of Our Messengers.’
28/10…..Then Pharaoh’s family picked him up (from the river) …. And the wife of Pharaoh said (on seeing Musa [Moses]): ‘(This child) is coolness of eyes for me and for you; do not kill him. He may perhaps bring us benefit or we may adopt him as a son.’
28/14…. And (Musa’s [Moses’s] mother) said to his sister: ‘Follow him (to be aware of him).’ So she watched him from a distance…
20/23………(And) when your sister, (posing as a stranger,) … said (to Pharaoh’s family): Shall I point out to you (a woman) who will nurse this (infant)? …..
28/14……..‘Shall I tell you about a family who will bring up this (child) for you and will (also) be his well-wisher?’ So (this way) We returned Musa (Moses) to his mother so that her eyes might keep cool …..
