HOW TO DO ZIKR?

So always worship Me, and establish Prayer for the sake of My remembrance.20/17

The following steps need to be followed to help prepare oneself for mental contemplation.

Aim is to please Allah(swt) and his Rasool ﷺ with love (not for show off) AND To contemplate on one’s inner self to think of his mistakes and purity his own self

Start and end with darood o salaam (3/5/7/11 times).Face qibla and sit in tashahud position (better or else which ever way is comfortable).It should be done in a quiet and comfortable place away from distractions. it is preferable to practice in the same place with dim lights and moderate temperature.Disconnect the telephone AND Wear comfortable clothes .Breathe in a deep and regular manner.understand the meanings while doing the zikr.

Zikr requires concentration (ignore waswasas).recite surah falaq ,surah nas and ayat al kursi to gain concentration and to prevent waswasas .

Do it for some fixed time or number or till you get exhausted or till peace and tranquility decends on to your heart (every day make an habit) DO IT IN A GROUP OR ALSO INDIVIUALLY.

Meditation (pas n pas )—-Contemplate ALLAHU while taking breath and ALLAH while leaving breath .HU(pronoun)resides with you OR Contemplate ALLAH while taking breath and HU while leaving breath .

 Fakhr al-Din al-Razi said:

dhikr of the tongue is the expressions that stand for tasbih(subhanAllah), tahmid(alhamdulilah), and tamjid(3rd kalma) — exaltation, praise, and glorification.

dhikr of the heart, it consists in reflection on the proof-texts that point to Allah’s essence and His attributes, on those of the obligations including what is enjoined and what is forbidden so that one may examine the rulings that pertain to them, and on the secrets of Allah’s creation.

dhikr of the limbs, it consists in their being immersed in obedience, and that is why Allah named prayer: “dhikr” when He said: “When the call is proclaimed on Jum`a, hasten earnestly to the dhikr of Allah” (62/9).

dhikr of the eyes, which consists in weeping (buka’);

dhikr of the ears, which consists in listening (isgha’);

dhikr of the tongue, which consists in praise (thana’);

dhikr of the hands, which consists in giving (`ata’);

dhikr of the body, which consists in loyalty (wafa’);

dhikr of the heart, which consists in fear and hope (kawf wa raja’);

dhikr of the spirit, which consists of utter submission and acceptance (taslim wa rida’).”

When I want to talk to Allah I say prayers and when I want that he talk to me I recite quran- Hazrath Ali(ra)

Make sure you forward this to others .
