“Bismillahir Rahmannir Raheem”Al-Hamdu Lillaahi Rabbil ‘Aalameen was Salaatu was- Salaamu ‘Alaa Sayidinaa Muhammadin wa Aalihi wa Asabihi Ajma ‘een (tauheed- risalat- ahkirat and islam-iman-ihsan)
(O Beloved!) Say: ‘If you love Allah, follow me. Allah will then take you as (His) beloved, and forgive you your sins for you….’3/31
86/13- This is indeed a decisive (i.e., absolute) commandment. And it is no joke!
Whoever is (dwelling) in the heavens and the earth (whether an angel, a jinn or a human being) will appear just as a servant before the Most Kind (Lord).19/93
So glorify your Lord with His praise and live amongst those who prostrate themselves before Him. And worship your Lord till you attain to the station of certainty of faith (which goes with your glory, i.e., perfect cognizance of divinity or the moment of far-nearness to your Lord).15/98-99
He whom Allah guides is the one who is rightly guided, but the one whom He holds strayed, you will not find for him any wali (friend to help) and murshid (guide to show the path).18/17
And on the Day of Resurrection, We shall set up balances of fairness and justice. So no soul will be wronged in the least. And if there is (someone’s deed) equal to the weight of a mustard seed, We shall bring forth that (as well). And We are Sufficient to take account.21/47
Surely, the hypocrites (self-deluding) seek to deceive Allah, whilst He is to make them suffer for their (own) deception. And when they stand up for Prayer, they do it sluggishly, (simply) for showing off to the people. And they (also) remember Allah but little.4/142
And, (O Esteemed Beloved,) warn your close relatives (of Our torment).26/214
And do not say about those who are slain in the cause of Allah that they are dead. (They are not dead.) They are rather alive but you have no perception (of their life).2/154
And do not (ever) think that those who are slain in the way of Allah are dead. Rather, they are alive in the presence of their Lord. They are served with sustenance (comprising bounties of Paradise).3/169
Anas(ra)reported that Allah’s Messenger said:Verily, after a abd is placed in his grave, and his companions walk away from him, so that he can hear the echo of their footsteps, two angels come to him. They make him sit, and ask him, “What did you saying about this man (Muhammad)?” A believer replies, “I bear witness that he is Allah’s abd and Messenger.” He is then told, “Look at your place in the Fire; Allah has substituted it for you with a place in Jannah” Thus he views both of them. His grave is then expanded for him to seventy cubits; and it is filled with greenery until the Day of Resurrection. As for a disbeliever or a hypocrite, he replies, “I do not know. I said what the people said.” He is then told, “You did not know; nor did you recite {Quran)” He is then hit one blow between his ears with an iron hammer; and he emits a shriek which is heard by all creatures near him except jinns and human beings. His grave contracts on him until his ribs break.(muslim)
Ibn Abbas(ra)reported that Allah’s Messenger said:A believer praises Allah as his soul leaves from between his two sides.(ahmed)
Umm Salamah (ra)reported that the Prophet said: Indeed, when the soul is taken away, the eyesight follows it.(muslim)
Ibn ‘Abbas said that Allah’s Messenger said:If anyone were to escape from the squeeze of the grave, it would be Sad Bin Mu ath; however,he was squeezed once and then released. (tabarani)
Abu Hurayrah (ra)reported that Allah’s Messenger said:When the soul of a believer departs from the body, it is taken by two angels who rise with it (here heﷺdescribed the sweetness of its fragrance). The inhabitants of the heaven say, “A good soul is coming from the direction of the earth; may Allah’s blessings be upon you and upon the body that you had inhabited.” He is then taken to his Lord, Who says, “Take it to complete its appointed time (before resurrection).” But when the soul of a disbeliever departs from the body (here he (0) described its foul odor), the inhabitants of the heaven say, “An evil soul is coming from the direction of the earth.” Then it is said, “Take it to complete its appointed time (muslim)
Narrated from al-Bara’ ibn ‘Aazib (ra):The Prophet said, “When the believing slave is about to depart this world and enter the Hereafter, there come down to him from Heaven angels with white faces like the sun, and they sit around him as far as the eye can see. They bring with them shrouds from Paradise and perfumes from Paradise…” until he said, describing the state of the Believer in the grave: “Then a voice calls out from Heaven, ‘My slave has spoken the truth, so prepare for him a bed from Paradise and clothe him from Paradise, and open for him a gate to Paradise.’ Then there comes to him some of its fragrance, and his grave is made wide, as far as he can see. Then there comes to him a man with a handsome face and handsome clothes, and a good fragrance, who says, ‘Receive the glad tidings that will bring you joy this day.’ He says, ‘Who are you? Your face is a face which brings glad tidings.’ He says, ‘I am your righteous deeds.’ He says, ‘O Lord, hasten the Hour so that I may return to my family and my wealth.’” (Ahmad)
