SOHBATE AULIA / AFFILIATION WITH THE AULIA

Wilaayat (Sainthood) is a status of closeness which Allah azzawajal has blessed to some of His beloved servants through His Grace.

Wilaayat can not be attained by one’s self. It is bestowed by Allah azzawajal. However, good deeds and virtuous behavior is a means of allowing it to be bestowed.Wilaayat is not given to anyone without knowledge. No Wali is exempted from any religious obligations.

 
There are four pre‑conditions that one must confirm before accepting any one as a Sheikh. 1. The Sheikh must be Sunni on True Belief
2. He should have sufficient knowledge to find the solutions to daily Islamic issues.
3. He must not be a Faasiq (Open sinner).
4. His chain must link to the Prophet (ﷺ).

The word ‘Dua’ is used in two meanings.

1.When we are supplicating to Allah (SUBHANU WAATALA), the word ‘Dua’ is used in the meaning of prayer (Ad-Dua’o mukkhul  Ibaada – meaning Dua is a primary form of Prayer).

2.With reference to human beings, its meaning are ‘request’ or to call some one.

It is in Quran –  وَمَثَلُ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا كَمَثَلِ الَّذِي يَنْعِقُ بِمَا لَا يَسْمَعُ إِلَّا دُعَاءً وَنِدَاءً ۚ صُمٌّ بُكْمٌ عُمْيٌ فَهُمْ لَا يَعْقِلُونَ” –

 (Meaning – “And the example of those who disbelieve, is as that of him who shouts to the (flock of sheep) that hears nothing but ‘calls’ (Dua) and cries.  (They are) deaf, dumb and blind.  So they do not understand”.(2/171)

Also, there is an English word ‘Lord’. It is used in so many meanings like, God, Judge, Member of Parliament, owner of a plot of land/property, etc.

Prostration (Sajda) in front of a human being, as a mark of respect (and not as Ibaadah), has never been Shirk throughout the history of mankind. If this was Shirk, then Allah (SUBHANU WAATALA) would not have asked angels to prostrate in front of Adam(AS). You think Allah (SUBHANU WAATALA) would ask angels to do Shirk? (Astaghrifullah).  If it was shirk, Hazrat Yaqoob (AS) and his sons would not have prostrated in front of Hazrat Yousef (AS).

It is the extreme humility of a perfect human being that Prophet Mohammad (ﷺ) stopped it (It is in Hadith). Now to prostrate in front of any one as a mark of respect (Sajda-e-Ta’azeemi) is not allowed in Islam. Therefore, it is Haram (forebidden).

THE PLACES ATTACHED TO THE PIOUS

( 3/37-38)- Every time Zakariya (Alaihis salaam) entered her (Bibi Maryam’s) room he saw her supplied with fruit that was out of season. He asked her,’ From where does this come to you?’ She replied, ‘From Allah (Almighty and Glorious is He): For He provides sustenance to whom He pleases without measure’. Zakariya stood on that spot and made dua to Allah (Almighty and Glorious is He).’ His dua was answered and he was blessed with a son. Hazrath Yahya (Alaihis salaam).

The place where a friend of Allah sits become blessed and a place of acceptance of dua, then how blessed that spot must be where they are buried?

“Verily, he who has purified the Nafs has attained victory, and he who has despoiled it has lost.

“That day of Qiyamat (the day of doom) neither wealth nor sons will benefit anyone, but that person who comes to Allah with a reformed hearts”.

Aulia Allah (Saints) are not erroneous but also ALL MIGHTY ALLAH keeps them His comrade.

Living for him means following him (seerat/sunnah with love and adab) +working for his deen (tabligh e deen/calling towards quran/islam iman ihsan)

Safeguarding the deen-–1.Ibadate elahi 2.Ghulamane mustafa(ﷺ) 3.Mohabbate ahle bait 4.Azmate sahaba 5.Sohbate auliya.

TASAWUFF—-1.iqlas e niyyat (sincerity and purity –seeking only allah and his pleasure) 2.ilm e nafae (profitable knowledge- quran and sunnah ) 3.amal e saleh (good deeds/taqwa –avoiding sins) 4.ahklaq e hasana (building good character- free from diseases of heart) 5.salamate sudur (protecting living heart -by sohbate awliya)

When I want to talk to allah I say prayers and when I want that he talk to me I recite quran- Hazrath Ali(ra)
