Fitna /Confusions

Mu’adh Bin Jabal (r.a.)  narrated that some of his companions said, “When Allah’s Messenger ﷺ intended to send him (Mu’adh Bin Jabal) to Yemen, he asked: “How will you judge when the occasion of deciding a case arises?”  He replied, I shall judge in accordance with Allah’s Book.   He was asked: “(What will you do) if you do not find any guidance in Allah’s Book?”  He replied, “(I shall act) in accordance with the Sunnah of Allah’s Messenger .”   He ﷺ asked, “(What will you do) if you do not find any guidance in the Sunnah of Allah’s Messenger ﷺ and in Allah’s Book?”  He replied, “I shall do my best to form an opinion and I shall spare no effort.”  Allah’s Messenger ﷺ then patted him on the breast and said: “Praise be to Allah Who has helped Allah’s Messenger to find something which pleases Allah’s Messenger.”   (Abu Dawud 3585)

42/23. …Say: ‘I do not ask for any recompense for this (preaching the faith in Messengership), but (seek) love for (my) kindreds(ahle baith) (and Allah’s nearness).’

….. if you adhere to it you will not go astray: Allah’s Book and my close relatives who belong to my household(ahle baith).” [Sunan Tirmidhi Volume 005, Book 162, Hadith Number 3718]

“If Allah desires good for a person, He gives him understanding of the religion.” (Bukhari #71 & Muslim #1037)

whenever the Prophet had to choose between two options, he always chose the easier, unless it was explicitly forbidden (Bukhari).

‘Facilitate

[religious matters to people]

and do not make [things] difficult. Obey each other and do not differ [amongst yourselves].’ (Bukhari & Muslim).

“Never be extreme regarding religion. Many nations have been destroyed before you only because of extremism in religion,” (Nisaai; Ibn Majah).

Prophet’s prayer was of a moderate length and his sermon too was moderate in length.”(muslim)

 “This religion is easy. No one becomes harsh and strict in the religion without it overwhelming him. So fulfill your duties as best you can and rejoice. Rely upon the efforts of the morning and the evening and a little at night and you will reach your goal.” [Sahîh al-Bukharî]

Our deen lies between law(sharia) and spirit(marifa)——intellect and love—– theology and spirituality—–negligence and extremisim—–Hope and fear—– moderation and justice.

When I want to talk to allah I say prayers and when I want that he talk to me I recite quran- Hazrath Ali(ra)
