THE ETIQUETTE OF ITR
To apply ‘Itr on the hair and beard is Sunnah.
To apply ‘Itr at night and before Jumu’ah prayers is a Sunnah.
One should not refuse ‘Itr when offered.
To use ‘Itr of Raihan and ‘Ud is Sunnah.
One should not use a fragrance that contains unlawful ingredient or alcohol.
To burn ‘Ud and Camphor is a Sunnah.
The best kind of perfume is musk oil. A man should perfume himself from time to time.
If somebody offers him a perfume, it is better to accept it and not to reject it, as it is considered a good thing.
A woman is allowed to perfume herself only indoors and provided no stranger or male relative whom she can marry is there.
A perfumed woman may not leave her home unless she has got rid of the smell of perfume.
THE ETIQUETTE OF RING
It is forbidden for men to wear gold rings. It should preferably be made of silver.
The ring may be worn on the finger of the left or the right hand. dont wear the ring in the pointer or the middle finger.
wore a ring with the stone towards the palm.
ring must be of silver, less than four and a half Mashas in weight.
The ring should necessarily have a stone.
THE ETIQUETTE OF SURMA
Supplication for applying Surma-‘Allahumma Mat-Ti’Ni Bissam-e Wal Basar’.
Thereafter apply some Surma in the right eye once then the left and so on three times.
THE ETIQUETTE OF SPORT
Sports is encouraged only if it becomes a means for one to become strong and healthy.
Dress in sport must be in accordance to Islam.
Useless activities which endanger life/health, e.g. bungee-jumping, (dangerous) mountain-climbing, parachuting etc, should be avoided.
Harming animals as a sport is Haram.
Gambling and betting in sport is Haram.
The
wearing of sports clothes (or any other clothes) with Haram sponsorship, logos,
pictures or animations is not allowed.
